perhaps. but you're so good at disliking characters.

i'm picky about my characters. i see nothing wrong with that.
i like plenty. i just like ones that tend to die for good.

Doesn't that drive you crazy though, liking the characters that die?!

it does, but i'm so used to it at this point that i just accept it as fact and morn those characters when they do die.

i can't help it that i automatically like those characters more.

I just hate watching/reading the type of stories where characters have to die. T.T

basically everything i watch/read is that type of thing. so...
I mean I've had several series (book and tv) that get my entire list of favorite characters or the top couple.
Supernatural has killed two of three thus far

I think NCIS is the only show I watch that has a habit of killing or otherwise getting characters to leave the show.

Tv shows are generally better just cuz they like to keep actors around.

but then an actor might not renew their contract because they have offers for better shows elsewhere.

yeah. the only show i watch that that happens on frequently is Teen Wolf.

yeah. it hurt for the reasons i expected it to hurt, but it had one good thing in it.

same here. I like a tv show that can make me cry. Like, that says so much about it's quality and ability to emotionally reach the viewers.

yeah, and i like when it can make me cry from more than just a character dying. when the emotional trauma has nothing to do with that it means more to me
