yeah no it's not. it's just drama. and it's stupid drama. i don't see why i am required to read this for a college level english class. i don't even understood why victiorian literature must be studied. it's all the same and it's all soap opery with drama and just longwinded and stupid. i see no deeper meaning. i think any deeper meaning people apply to it is something they have forced upon it and not something the author actually intended it. since most of them published in volume and got PAID by the word to write. yeah not really writing for deeper meaning. just saying!!
