well it's a heavily lab intensive class where what we learn that day is super important so if i missed i'm pretty much effed

I have a professor who takes 5 points off your final grade for every absence if you don't have a doctor's note. With one grace day.

we usually are allowed 2 or 3 grace days then after that it doesn't matter if you have a doctor's not or not.

it is tough but the english department hates if you miss. other departments will be more or less lenient. but if you have oustanding circumstances most of the time they will understand

this reminds me of my dad writing programs to solve sudoku, solitare, and other games. he does that for fun inbetween doing real work. O_o
