people take pills to make them have no emotions because in the future they realize humans are corrupt and can only be cured by making them emotionless shells. Then there's lot of gun slinging as a 'cop' guy stops taking the pills and takes down the society and proves humans need a heart. you know, all the good stuff a movie needs. very action packed fights.
