Not terrible. I'm feeling better about the whole deal with my ex, although I'm still hoping I'll find someone to date first. lol. Don't think I would like seeing her with someone new.

Yeah, going through a breakup sucks, especially if you aren't really over your ex. ><;

I'm looking for a new significant other at the moment. -sighs- Its a bit of a pain. :/

Indeed. So many criteria to match up, so many problems to deal with on your own before you're even ready for a new person in your life, and of course so many people to try to choose from. A needle in a haystack the size of a small country. So not fair. So hard.

Exactly.
Or. >_>;
Kita is picky. Men around here don't seem to be up to my...standards. There was a reason I was almost perfectly happy in an online/long-distance relationship. :headdesk:

It's not picky. You have to find the one who matches, or it won't work. Thought recently I found one close, and it did not. Gotta get closer. So many things to match. Do you know how hard it is to find someone who shares my religious views alone? Much less similar taste in music, and television, games, shopping, food. Ugh! Why must things be so difficult?

Sorry. Bit of a rant there. Having an off night. Think someone might have forgotten poor saro.:cry: So unhappy. Oh well.

Things always get better though. Might find someone soon. Might not. Either way I'll be alright I suppose.

I hear ya. :)
My religious views (and views on a lot of other things) are out of whack with "normal" people.
My last relationship, I thought it was it. Obviously it wasn't. :sweat:
I will find someone eventually.
Or I won't.
Either way, what's in my cards is in my cards, and I will try my hardest to roll with the punches.

:hug: Its ok. Kita rants too. I've not had a good night either. Got into a fight with my brother over religious views. I'm not happy today at all.

Nope. All my escape routes are pretty much cut off right now.

Soo...I'm hanging out upstairs and reading books and listening to my music too loud. :lol:

Your thread got lost in my mound of subscribed threads. O_o

There's never a too loud, unless its my brother's music. -covers ears- But we have a noise rule in the neighborhood though. I usually break it.
Oh...what bands do you like? :P
I listen to more classic rock than I do anything else, but good metal is nice too. Good metal. Not ARRGHBLHALISTENTOHOWLOUDIAMARRGH stuff though.

Well. I listen to orchestral metal, like nightwish, and within temptation. I listen to Christian metal like Kutless and Skillet.

Of course I listen to 80's metal. I like a lot of it.

I like Skillet. :yes:

I listen to the same music as my mother, so what I listen to all the time is 8Os/70s/some 60s rock or metal.
I like some country too.
I don't really like a lot of rap or pop. It hurts my ears.

I have some opera CDs too. And Celtic music, which I adore. ^^

That's like exactly what I listen to.

OH! have you ever heard of Pandora Celtica? They're an Acapella Celtic band I'm friends with. :)

Cool! I don't usually get along with people who don't like the same music as me. ^^;;

No.
o_o
Can I listen to them on youtube or something?

Um... the youtube videos mostly suck, but they have a website.

Pandora Celtica - Home

I know two members of the band, and I've met the others.

That made me laugh for some reason.
I'll check it out tomorrow. :yes:
I have to get some sleep in a minute, but I'm watching a show about kittens. XD
They're so cute. :lol:

Knowing people in bands is fun, especially if you like the band.
Or, if they're a nationally recognized band and you have some friends that obsess over them, and you can tell them that you know the lead singer or whatever, and tease your friends. That's really fun.
...Not that I've ever done anything like that. :angel:

lol. You might not have, but you so would. :)

I had an interesting and... exhilarating, day.

I was hanging out with my ex see, and well... long story short, she kissed me.

We have decided that it's okay, and that we can do that because it doesn't mean we are going to fall back in love or anything, just until one of us finds someone... more important, to do that with.

I have done it. :lol:
But I'd do it again.

Oh wow. I've done that before.
I have to say...even if you don't plan on on falling in love again, it could still get weird. I mean...you know, things can happen that you don't mean to happen. You could just realize one day that you are still in love with her, and then you'd be in a mess.
What happened when I did that, I realized I wasn't over the guy, and then he started dating this other girl, but then realized he was still in love with me, so I wound up calling the girlfriend and breaking up with her for him in a three-way call. It was the strangest conversation and I felt really guilty about it, because it wasn't fair to the other girl at all. ><
But I'm not trying to rain on your parade. :sweat: It could work out perfectly for you two. You aren't two 15-year-olds. XD;
What happened with me wouldn't happen now. I don't think. O_o

I don't know what will happen. lol.

Thing is I'm kinda... And this will make me sound insane, but you're nice, so I'll trust you not to laugh at me. I'm empathic.

And being empathic, while we were hugging and whatnot as is our way, I felt what she did, and since she wanted to kiss me, I really had little say in the matter. I get swept up, though in this case I do not mind. I just hope we can keep things simple. I mean we know we don't work emotionally as a couple, but... well we always made each other happy when we were together, and we were really good friends with an amazing friendship.

And also she is a really good kisser. XD I would know... I taught her how. lol. ...I've created a monster. lol.

I wouldn't laugh at you. :)

As long as you're both on the same page, I think it would work.
There's nothing wrong with being friends with an ex, I think its cool. And whatever else happens, as long as you're not hurting someone else, that's fine too, you know?
I mean like, there are SO many shades of gray when you're dealing with relationships and emotions. Sometimes its impossible to do one thing or another. Walking the line between friends and lovers is cool, as long as no one falls off the line.
I just got a mental image of a tightrope walker...

:XD That made me laugh! Good kissing is definitely a plus! You didn't create a monster, you gave a gift. :lol:

*Laughs* I suppose you're right. I just... I dunno.

I've actually taught a couple of my girlfriends how to kiss, and then in one case I saw the girl kissing someone else, which... well you can guess.

It's a big deal for me. Like more so than for most people. The connection most people get kissing, I get just touching, and the connection I get kissing a girl is... More.

Ugh. Not easy to explain this. lol.

His cancer is almost gone. :boogie:
They said last month that he was doing a lot better than they thought he would, and today they said he didn't even have to do chemo, but he said he'd go ahead since he was already at the hospital.
