How can you have lots of drawing time when school is back? I would think during holidays and summer is the time you would be able to draw a lot.

I know how that can be. Those commons, especially around events, will wipe out any savings you might have had. |
Well, event commons, luckily for me, I usually don't like that many of them.
But other commons, like dresses, are mega pricey and I don't have 100k to blow in the stores. I need a way to make more gold faster. I am not a huge, huge poster on here as I am on another avatar site I am on. Maybe I'll go and play a game for some gold. I wish they didn't lower it to 250g from 500g, but oh well. |
I thought they lowered it! The only way to get it now is to have a mule, which I really hate having. I had invited friends on when we were all little and impressionable--not to mention didn't read the ToS--so I had multiple accounts on my IP.
Since we have drawers, there's really nothing I need it for. |

Nothing that I really need a mule here for. I requested that I retain one of the accounts, maybe in the hopes of starting some kind of charity, or storing things back when I didn't have a great feel for Menewsha. But, since everyone and their grandmother has a charity and I give things away willy-nilly, it's kind of silly to have one. n____n;;
Aw, that's too bad. I have heard poor opinions of it, too. Although they mainly come in the form of "It's too hard to earn gold," which is a shame on them. |
You could still have a charity. Or use it to get extra gold from the games.
People still think all sites should run like Gaia, where you get things handed to you and if you save every little thing you ever get that you can be a millionaire in a week. |
Pffft, what an awful aspiration to have, isn't it? I don't feel the least bit sorry for someone who makes a thread here about how the new users should have some kind of 'starter pack' or more gold. In the suggestions where you vote for the new features, one (or three) of the options included something about starter packs and raising the gold cap, which just seems ridiculous to me. At least on another site (that begins with 'S' and ends with 'olia') the farming capabilities made it necessary to have things like gold sinks and adjustments. Even then, they didn't have to.

Oh my god, I am SOOOO sick of hearing places that users should have a starter pack, or starter gold, or a million and one ways to get gold so they can just sit on their fat ass and watch the gold come to them. Um, hello, in real life, you have to work hard to get what you want. Unless you are someone like Paris Hilton or something where you just have a millionaire setup waiting for you to take it over whenever you want.
