I had a pet rat before. His name was Patrick. and he was a sweetie. He would only eat in his cage. even if you gave him a nut outside of the cage he would go back there to eat it. it was so cute. <3

yup that was pretty much how it went XD
my hamster at the time would store food in her mouth then travel out of her cage when given the opportunity and store it places. and when patrick came out he would go looking for it. it was kinda funny. he would take what he wanted and then go back to his cage XD |
