I'm actually relieved when I'm back down to no gold after I get a quest item.
I'm like "Yay! I didn't waste my gold on something else first and now I have nothing to lose!"

I have to agree with that. It's why I keep so little on this account unless I have to move gold here if it's requested. I am more tempted if I can see it.

I'm tempted either way, but I still keep most of my gold on my mule.
