RyRy:: In my first elementary school we had the normal letter-grade scale: A B C D or F. And then when I moved to a different town, they had a totally different letter-grade scale. It was like E A N U and I think there was an S in there somewhere. It was extremely confusing at first, but it was easy to understand once you got used to it. It was supposed to be a better system than the "normal" scale.

Our grading system is akin to your E A N U one. XP Except of course with different letters. Although 'E' is also our highest. XP I won't elaborate more aside from that. ^^;; <3<3

'E' was our highest mark too, 'U' was lowest. There was also maybe a 'P' For proficient, and I know there was an 'S' in there somewhere, but I forget what it stood for. :/

Oh wow, same here! xDD;; 'U' was for Unsatisfactory. 8DD;; And 'P' was the second lowest for Passing. XP And we also had an 'S', for Satisfactory. ^^;; Which was the third lowest, I think?

U was for 'unacceptable', P was 'proficient', and I remember now that S was 'satisfactory, although I'm not sure what rank it was. xP
All in all, I think the 'A B C D F' scale was much simpler. Lol! |

And yeah, the descending order is so much simpler. 8DD;; I have no idea why my old high school maintains said different grading standard. ^^;; |

I think that for the letters, it was 1 2 3 4, with 4 being the highest? I can't completely recall. Its been a long time. |
