I'm sorry for your loss too. Its so hard to lose someone who you love very much. :(
We don't have a car right now (ours clunked out on us a couple weeks ago) so a couple days ago, my cousin (Christine's son) asked us if we'd like to buy aunt Christine's car; the one she used until she died. Its a nice little car, but I don't think my mom and I would really like it, because we were both so close to her, having her car seems like it would be a constant reminder that she's dead and we miss her so much. We told him we couldn't buy it...I hope he doesn't get angry, but I would hate to get in the car and start bawling if I was having one of my bad days, you know? :headdesk: |

Grandpa left his us his trunk... it isn't too much of a reminder, but no one likes driving and we're not sure what to do with it. |

Thanks. It actually wasn't someone in my family. It was my boyfriend's sister-in-law's father. But I had met the guy before and all that is going on around his death is in the local news. :( I went because I know how hard it is to lose a parent because I lost my mom seven years ago. Though she didn't die in the same fashion he did.
Chicken seasoned with some Mexican spices, rice, and potatoes for those who don't like rice. |

This year has been a rough one. I have to say that I might not be too sad to see it hurry up. Though the day after Christmas is a day I would prefer to skip.

Decemeber 26 of last year is when my boyfriend's mom passed away. She had been diagnosed with lung cancer in January and they had gave her 6 to 9 months if she didn't take chemo and 12 to 15 if she did. She took the chemo and radiation. I think it was in August when they told her that the cancer was gone by 81% and on her next visit, they told her it had double and she had two months left. That year was very rough for us all.
I think the 2000's have all been bad years. Sounds yummy. I'm not much into steak but that meal sounds good. |
