Ooo free contests for the win. xD <3
I like entering contests to try and win stuff. >3 |
I would tell you the name of the place but I don't want to get in any trouble. Not sure if telling you constitutes as referring you there.
If it don't, the place is called Game Podunk. |
Telling the name is fine. It's usually when a link that says "sign up here" is the problem. =D
|
Ah, ok. Makes sense. *nods* They're giving away a free game on there. Not sure if you ever played it or not but the game is called Chaos Wars.
|
It sounds familiar... *hmm*
|
It was released for the PS2 a few years(?) back. Didn't get quite the attention that it deserves due to horrible English VAs. *grabs her copy to give you an idea of what the game is about* I haven't played it much but it's a genre I love and the characters are from publishers I love like Atlus, Aruze, and Idea Factory. It's a turn based strategy game similar to Makai Kingdom and the Disgaea series. Which, btw, are pure gold in my book.
|
ooo xD that's why. Yeah I just started with the whole turn base strategy games. (Fire Emblem for the win <3) They're really fun. xD Frustrating but fun.
|
I haven't played much Fire Emblem but it is a good series. And I think the whole "making you think out your actions" is what makes the games stand out.
|
I just got into it recently. I bought Radiant Dawn for my brother for his birthday and like two months ago, he finally got around to finishing it. But since I had no idea that Radiant Dawn was the sequel was for Path of Radiance, my curiosity finally got the better of me and I tracked down a used copy to play it. xD So now, I'm being all OCD about the game because I really want to see the super secret conversation that supposedly you need to finish PoR, (got a certain support to A), then play Radiant Dawn twice and a bunch of other things that need to be done the second time with tons of chained requirements (i.e. you must save this guy) and if I wasn't so determine to read it (even though I kinda read it on youtube. >> ) I would have given up by now. *rambles*
Curse you Ike for being so lovable. Yeah. Thinking about your actions always make things interesting. =D Especially when it changes the endings and stuff. |
I was the same way with Persona 3. I wanted to see both of the endings. And Fire Emblem is like Final Fantasy Tactics to an extent as if a character dies, s/he never comes back, right? That element would be interesting to work with. I could imagine losing a character that was at a high level and such because they got killed. I'd probably cry.
|
Persona 3... I must remember to finish that game. xD *is on the long list of games I own, but haven't finished*
Yup. It gets frustrating when you're only 1 turn from completing the level and then someone goes and die and you have to do back and do it all over again. There's this one battle in PoR that basically comes down to luck where you either 1) defeat the enemy 2) someone saves you 3) you die. If 3 happens you have to do the entire chapter ALL over again. @[email protected] Someone saving you gives you a terrible character to play with. And it's all up to luck because the enemy you're fighting makes every enemy before and after that battle look like a little puppy. The final boss was like ten times easier. @[email protected] |
I need to finish the FES part of Persona 3. Persona 4 is good, especially with the parts it improved on from Persona 3. I need to thnk of the backlog I have... Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Final Fantasy XII, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga I, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner (got stuck on boss that takes, from what I heard, anywhere from ten to thirty minutes to fight), Baroque, Atelier Annie, Pokemon Platinum, and many many more. o.o;
And yeah, I'm a sucker for the MegaTen series and anything made by Atlus. xD And yikes. I'm not sure I'd want to redo the whole chapter. |
xD I haven't gotten to the FES part of Persona 3. Also own Persona 4 (haven't started), I got one of the Star Oceans... but I can't remember which one. Final Fantasy XII, (well I stopped where I normally stop on FF games... right before the final boss level... xD)
The rest I've heard of but don't own. xD They have so many pretty storylines that why :drool: Well only time you're force to redo a chapter is when your main lead character dies (or which ever character you have to do take into battle). Other then that, any character that dies in the chapter you don't have to redo the chapter, but yeah you don't have the character anymore... so does redoing it with a better chance that all your party survive worth all the frustrations of redoing the entire chapter? xD That one chapter is so hard because it's your main character against that one enemy. T__T And again since its your main character if you die, force to redo the whole chapter again. @[email protected] Radiant Dawn is a whole another level of hard. Apparently (after I look at the reviews) it's the hardest Fire Emblem to date or something along those lines. xD Personally it wasn't too bad (then again brother was playing on easy mode) and the only reason why it's hard was instead of having 1 group and every new character joining that group, you instead have Group A, Group B, Group C. So in part 1 you're A, part 2 you're B, then in part 3, you start as C and then A and C start fighting each other *baffled* Then you join together as one big army in Part 4 @[email protected] That makes leveling up very hard. |

That would be awesome, I think. |
Nyuu not really. It gets hot and muggy and the humidity is a killer. *flops over* It's terrible when all you're doing is sitting in front of the computer and you're sweating like you just ran ten miles. ><
|
Ah, yeah. I know all about humidity and muggy. @[email protected];; It gets crazy bad here. I could taste the air when I was outside earlier. lol That shouldn't be possible.
|
xD
It's a good thing air conditioners exist yeah? |
Very much so. @[email protected];;
They save me during the day. Haha. I turn ours off at night, though, to save energy. |
xD Lucky. I can only have mines on for an hour... the rest of the day I must suffer. xD
|
Why only an hour? And my mom usually demands it be on. Haha. She doesn't like the heat, but neither do I. So I dont really mind. I still put it on energy saver, though. I try to keep it around 80 or high 70's in the house. Much better than the 90's and 100's that it is outside. @[email protected];;
|
The cost of the electricity I suppose? I'm not quite sure. I just usually suffer through the heat. xD
|
1 hour isn't much. I bet its a nice hour, though. lol
We also tend to leave the air on for the animals that are stuck in the house. We dont want them cooking. I'm outside pretty often when i'm home, so the AC doesn't apply to me as often. But we have lots of pets in the house, and we try to keep them at a comfortable temp. Its not as easy for them to cool off. At least during the cold they can just go on a heat rock or curl up somewhere and nap. |
It's a very nice hour. Just long enough to fall asleep in bed. xD
Ah yeah. My aunty does the same for her dog. Lucky pets. <3 They live like kings and queens. xD |
*noms on Seisei*
Hey Darlin', what's up? |
*squishes* Hime~ <3
Not much. Pixeling away at the moment. xD Debating if I should just finish up the order or just stop for the night and go take a shower since it's getting late here and there's still summer school tomorrow. T_T |
