Well, me neither, even though I always was the best in class...
I guess days on things like Gaia, Menewsha and Ragnarok Online sure payed off XD I got English lessons very early. (dunno what grade, cause we don't work with grades here in Holland XD) And I learned alot from television, but I learned the most online ^^ I guess I'll have even more trouble with Dutch, especialy writing. Dutch is a very hard lesson to learn though, specialy when you moved to the Netherlands because you have nowere else to go, as alot of people here. You hear them make grammar mistakes when they talk, lots of Dutch people laugh at them or think like -_- sigh, but I kinda have respect that they actualy managed to speak it o.o; |

Well when you suddenly come live in the Netherlands, the best way to learn
own your own is watching sesame street on Dutch television. ;D |

Yeah they teach children alot of words ofcourse.
Like that they talk about (for sample) uhm... *thinks*... animals in the whole show. Then the children learn how to say dog or cat, and the tail and nose and claws bladiebladiebla on and on... I had that idea from my mother. She had this colleague from Turkey, and she and other colleagues had trouble understanding him sometimes, so she told him to watch sesame street, cause he also said that he wanted to learn to speak better Dutch. |
