Trust me, mods are fair. It's users who skew stories and there are no other stories to back up what actually happened. So, the majority of Gaia is getting these biased sides of stories and mods can't tell everyone what evidence they have about the case because it breaks a non disclosure policy. People are getting banned for legit reasons the majority of the time.

If you want to talk corruption on Gaia, talk about scammers and "hackers" and the gold farmers reselling gold. Or those trades that will look suspicious. IP-links...it's complicated. But I wouldn't start pointing the finger at the mods. They go unappreciated, really. I will say there are some bad ones though, but that's true for anything.

Nah. There's a group of genuinely good people I've met in the past year outside my guild. But also, there are a lot of jerks along with that and unfortunately, those jerks outnumber the nice people.

I said it in one of my journal entries and I'll say it here; I guess it really takes an outstanding person to be relatively nice on this site :lol:

Also, people forget the part in the ToS that their accounts can be terminated for anything or for nothing at all. Section 15. 8)

For the hacking, couldn't they ask for the IP address of his account at GD and see if it matches up?

I would doubt that since it's a site that isn't affiliated with Gaia itself. I'm sure they have enough tools to do an investigation on the site anyway...when they get to it.

I think people think they're completely protected about what they say outside of Gaia, but I think they forget that mods are people too and like to make reasonable connections because of things that are said. Just a guess though. Not sure how mods work xD

Exchanging and vending are both ripping people off xD Just different ways. I don't think one is really morally better than the other.

I still like the whole thing about them hating Cori for gloating...yet, they're running around gloating about something too. How they hacked her. It's just a little ironic.

But really. With the ToS, I don't think anyone can talk about unfair bannings. Reason doesn't matter because Gaia can terminate accounts for any or no reason. Everyone agreed to it, so there shouldn't be any complaining, technically.

It's ok. People hate eachother for stupid reasons. It's how the world works too. Generally, it's due to a lack of education (as studies have found).
