A scary situation is this: My uncle had four pieces of wisdom teeth he had to have the last pair removed.

I think you're only supposed to have one pair right? X_x;

We have poor training, a lot of potential and determination but little to no state support but a lot of pressure to get the gold.

And without the support of the government or from the fellow citizens, how do you think athletes feel when they graduate HS?

Between a career athlete and a college grad, people would choose to be the latter thinking that it wouldn't be worth it. I know it's hard to balance both and that people eventually get worn down thanks to age and stress---still.

Why---I mean there's so much possibility.

Well... I wouldn't choose career athlete. There's been so many stories of how former gold winners years ago, now become like, postmen or small workers at places, since they put training past school. And its uncertain you'll come away with medals also!

Unless you pull a Phelps, a lot of people will forget 30, 40 years from now what happened. (this is all imo XD)
