it's good to have a mule when you're bargain hunting in the exchange. people tend to ask you for more when youre buying their stuff, and they see you have so much gold XD you can hide the excess gold and leave a few to use for buying :>

and you can keep items locked away safe in your mule, just in case some jerk hacks your pc and gets passwords etc etc XD
