  • but come to think of it, that concept WILL cause the gold circulating in gaia to decrease so much. but it WILL cause some problems in it's beginning. a 3 million worth item will loose 60k if sold via the marketplace. What the admins didn't think about is that people will just go and flood the exchange with shops instead of the marketplace itself. why should they sell in the marketplace and loose 2% from sales when they could sell in the exchange without their sales being cut down by 2%? :lol:

    next thing we'll know is that gaia will impose a 2% transaction fee on trades :lol: that would suck of course, cuz not only the items will be affected, but also other transactions, like art, services, etc (and even DONATIONS!! XD imagine getting a 2% cut when you're just donating to someone XD)

    i should go and give that gaian economist guy some beesh slapping to make him come to his senses XD

    worst case, they won't even affect ANYTHING :lol: as people can just go to the exchange.

    i thought, "why not just cap the gold somewhere? like, when making transactions, you can only sell as much as 5mil 10mil or whatever. but i'm sure that won't really help at all :lol: cuz people will bug the mods more to assist them for 10mil+ trades XD

    what they should really do is look into the core of teh problem. what's the reason for inflation? why can't they just do something to help deflate it EXCEPT adding some listing fees? why is the world round? XD

    you know what i think? they should give EACH gaian an angelic halo. XD THAT will deflate EVERYTHING XD it'll make SOME of the users mad though, but it's better to get SOME people mad at them, than ALL of the community XD after all, that's the reason for the scarcity~tity XD

    look at what the GB auctions did. it supplied some rare items to the poor of menewsha. so, it deflated the prices a LOT.

Just passing through really. I needed some kinkyness infused in to my day. Damn teenagers. Ugh! And I have so many more years of this to still go through. I don't think one of us is going to make it.

Oh yes... I am irritated with my teenage child at the moment. I tore in to her pretty badly (I do not sugar coat things and can be brutal when I'm angry) and I made her cry and now I feel bad but I'm giving her some space until I go in and tell her I'm sorry and we work it out.

Jurupamae, letting her stew for a while is what i'd do anyway, i'm in no way cut out to be a parent, i'd want to give them away by the time they got to about 5 i think :roll:

It's all better now. We talked about being the third wheel (her little friend invited the boyfriend to meet us there) and taking advantage of people, etc. It's just tough when you see those life lessons play out before you and remember what it was like. I just have to remember to take a step back.

I keep trying to give them away but they keep coming back. ;)

No no no... the puppy like children. I have two of them. They keep coming home and calling me mommy. ;)

Nothing detachable on this body.

My daughter invited her friend to go to the movies today. What we weren't told is that the friend invited HER boyfriend to join them and payed little if any attention to my daughter. Then the friend tried to convince me that I needed to stay with said boyfriend until his sister came for him. It was just a ploy to get to stay longer with him. I was very upset that her friend did that to her and then they started passing notes back and forth in the car talking in secret about me (like I can't read what is being written there) I won't be taking that friend anywhere anymore.
