I wasn't around much yesterday. Wasn't feeling so great, not exactly tip top shape today either, but had to come to work.
Sorry I abandoned your thread EH T_T Facebook has been eating any time I give myself and more... And I have been juggling my schooling around... My college is very confusing and I almost had to drop all of my courses... But thankfully they juggled things about and I was able to simply drop my program until next year and start a general ed program that will allow me to keep chugging through classes!
Awesome. Glad you were able to stay with schooling. I should get off my lazy butt and get back in school. Perhaps when the next semester starts, I'll sign up for a class or two.
OMG Jaz, I'm glad you were able to juggle things to be beneficial to you. I've been pretty neglectful of Mene too--Facebook is also getting all of my internet time, and it's silly since I barely do anything except click around on PackRat...
Packrat is one of the half a dozen or so games I cut because I need to start focusing more on School... I have one teacher being exceptionally great and letting me make up the last weeks assignments and test.
though I didn't remove packrats bookmark cause when I get things better under my control I am going to try to get back into it! |
Today was my first real day of work--I cannot wait until I get set up to use my laptop so I can actually start chatting here again.
Yay for work. Just kidding!
Hoping today goes by fast, including the overtime that they told me I would work. Decided that last night I did not want to work overtime and my boss kind of frowned at me. But I pulled the, not feeling well card, and she left me alone after that. |
I hope it went by quickly!! I worked again all day today and am now sitting in class. I'd be really excited about having tomorrow off, but I have a paper to write since we're going to New Jersey this weekend so I won't have time to do it before class on Monday. Blah.
Hopefully the paper writing goes quickly for you. Then you'll still be able to just relax for a while.
I've got to catch up on everything tomorrow... My teacher gave me two days to cram all the stuff the other students did in two weeks while I was sick... So I have to take a test tomorrow... I am making a deal with myself RIGHT NOW.... I am only allowed my 1 hour facebook in the morning before the kids wake up and then NOTHING until I am done with the test and caught up with my puter course... Shouldn't take too long I don't think a matter of just putting myself too it!
You can do it Jazzy!
*hands Jaz blinders so she can focus* These only allow you see homework and tests. They block out everything else. So use the potty before you put them on. Learned that the hard way
Good luck Jazzy!!!
I may need a pair of those--I'm almost done with the first one, but am being really slow about it. |
You better get your stuff done so you can go play this weekend. :illgetu:
Ugh... My homework is so freaking boring but I have to read through it step by step to make sure I don't miss a step and get docked points O_o;; It is quite literally MS Windows Training for Word 2007... I've been doing most of this stuff SINCE 2007 O_O blah XP
Classes like that make me want to rip my eyeballs out and throw them at the computer screen. They are so boring, but you have to take them. Gross!
Yeah... Have to do one for each of the sections of MS office... Luckily we aren't required to have the nasty huge package I have so some I won't need to do!
Thank god for that. My dad is actually going to drop the class he is taking right now. There is just too much going on with them redoing the front of the house. His upcoming surgery. He'll probably take it next semester when things have calmed down for him and my mom. They are always so active and got projects going. It's great, but I think they spread themselves too thin at times. Try to get so much done in a short amount of time. Crazines..
Jaz, that's terrible--there wasn't some kind of higher-level for people who, you know, actually have a clue about what they're doing?
Most colleges require you to do the lower level class before the next one up unless you challenge the course. At least that's how it is here in California.
EWWWWW!!! At the schools I'm familiar with, you can 'pass out' of lower level classes pretty easily. You don't get the credits for it, but you don't have to take it.
There are some classes that they will let you challenge and other classes that they stand firm to it being required before taking the more advanced classes.
I need the credit for it unfortunately... and I can challenge the course but I am not familiar with the Access part of Microsoft office... I am purposefully failing my two courses now... I hate the idea of it but I just have too much at the moment to deal with and I suspect my ex is going to be taking me to court soon... I finally stopped watching Jayden and my Neighbor and her husband have been playing music (REALLY LOUDLY) daily during nap time and right after the boys go to sleep until 10PM (which is the time when I can call the cops on them and they will actually DO something) so anytime I can do homework I can't even concentrate... So I am going to opt for failing since we can't afford to pay back my financial aid this year... A lot of it has been my own fault this year and a lot has also been out of my control... I went into this new school with a rotten attitude and it's effected my whole semester... I think a lot of it is I am unsure if I am pursuing the right major... Or if I am just doing it because my mom won't ease up from me until I am in a fields SHE sees as worthy... But this whole semester has been nerve wracking and is making me re-evaluate myself... I'll more then likely be heading back to school in the spring... I am just not sure I want to go for what she is wanting me to... And I may be applying for a position with the hospital... If I get it... I may not go back to school for a while... I am just kind of unsure... I guess
Jaz, sounds like you need a break from school and chance to get things in order. Take the break. I did and now it's good time again for me to go back to school and get my nursing degree. It'll take me a little longer, but you know what...I'm persistent
I do think that is what I need... I have been in school consecutively since I was 5 1/2 years old... I think it is time...
