haha, I've had so many doctors I don't even know what doctor I should contact to find out about that stuff. My mom would just take our shot records with us everywhere. I know she'll have it. But my doctor knows nothing about me. Since I don't have the info I can't give him any of it. *shrugs*
Why don't you have her send it to you Mellie? Then you can know for sure... I have my Vax card thingy... But I am not sure that it is filled out fully...
Because she has a whole dresser drawer full of stuff about the 4 of her kids, bills, and random other stuff. xD It's so packed full of stuff I don't know what she really has in there...she did finally find my brothers birth certificate after looking for it for like 3 months before the Navy would let him join...
O_o I keep the kids and mine in a file lol... Well you can always drop the hint that you are interested in getting it from her and maybe in 3 or so months you'll get it in the mail!
HAHAHA Jaz! Mellie, that kind of stuff should be transferred to each new Dr before you start seeing him/her to avoid having to get boosters before it's time, and so they know your history. I highly recomend you ask your mother to find the info she has, or get the info from the last Dr you had so you can request it be sent to your new Dr. |
The two doctors I've had in this state (I did have more cause I was 4-5 when I moved to Colorado) didn't get the info from each other... The last... "Check Up" I had I brought my immunization records... The nurse took it and took a copy... >.> then never told me if I needed any @[email protected]'
xD I'll call my mom and ask her about it later. I have no idea the last time I had a real doctor. Er, like a "oh this is my dr, dr.) We had military insurance when my dad was in the Navy, up until I was like 8 or 9, and after that we just kinda never got sick. o.o I know we had blue cross or blue shield insurance in CA and they covered my prenatal care with Kura, but I'd never been to see those doctors before in my life since once we got out of the military system we stopped going for check ups etc. *shrugs*
Ugh medical that was what I was suppose to do on monday... >.> I need to get all the OTHER things done as well... Neeed energy!!!
I think I need to get a copy of the kids shot records for WIC again. I hate that they require it. Specially since the doctors office we are going to stop stamping the little yellow cards, and they just have everything on the computer now. so I don't just have an updated record with me at all times, whenever I need a copy I need to go down there and get it, very very annoying.
I'm so friggan hungry! |
Wow I just noticed how quickly I poof out of energy when I sit down... I got two boxes packed quite quickly and called Dillon down from his chores to call the financial guy and the our Realtor.... I figured since I got them done so fast I'd reward myself with some internet time... Now I feel tired again even though I had tons of energy while I was standing... Makes no sense to me ><
lol, I tend to get more tired when I'm standing or lying down. I'm good sitting...most of the time. Today in general I've just had no energy though. There was so much to do that I think it was all just weighing on my mind and making me not want to do a bit of it. @[email protected] Got some of it knocked off my to do list though, so it wasn't a complete flop of a day.
I got a super bad burn on Saturday, and today has been incredibly humid, so my energy has been totally zapped for the last few days. I've been pretty miserable. |
Eternal turned into a lobster?
I have to keep sunblock in my purse in the spring/summer. If I get left in the sun for 10 minutes my skin starts to burn. I'm so damn pale that the sun just attacks me with it's rays as soon as I set foot outside. Bad thing too since I LOVE the beach. I have to apply my SPF 50 every 2 hours. >.< I found SPF 100...but I don't think it would do much more than the 50 I already own, and it was in a tiny bottle. |
Sorry to hear about the sunburn, Eternal. Trust me, I understand (I'm one shade darker than the lightest "porcelain" that is possible to be, and I live in Florida - the sunshine state- of all places), and I've certainly had my share of sunburns. Ironically, most of them were when I was living up North!
A couple of things that seem to work is to make sure you stay hydrated, and to make a point of actually getting out into the sun regularly (even if it's only a few minutes a day) -without sunscreen- .... it is a good way to make sure you don't get burned. Besides, it lets the body get the vitamin D from the sun that it needs to help us maintain health ;) *waves to Mel* The pregnancy is kicking in to fatigue now? *hugs* |
I get a little sun every day. In the mornings I go out and check on my plants, er in the spring/summer/fall anyway. Not so much the winter, too cold!!
and I don't think it's the pregnancy that's making me tired, I think it's the kids I already have. xD They're being such monsters today, and I woke up with a killer headache that just hasn't left. I tried putting the kids down for their naps twenty minutes ago...and now two of them are standing in the corners because they wouldn't listen and just kept playing and being loud. I just want quiet, is that so much to ask? D: |
When you have toddlers . . .yes, quiet is too much to ask for :XD
boooooo. </3 Mommy needs quiet before her head explodes.
Ouch I feel you Melllie... Last night my mom, Dillon and Sean had a HUGE battle of wills... Sean would not share Aunty Crabby with Michael... So my mom told him you have to share and he told her no... the fight in-sued... and I began to question if he really understood the "MEANINGS" of yes and no... Cause I have often asked do you want a spanking and he will say yes... So my mom tests him... Do you want a spanking "no" do you want to sit in time out "no" do you want candy "yeah" do you want cookies "yeah" do you want soda "YES" (all while sobbing these were answered mind you) "will you share your aunty crabby with Michael "NO" it was CRAZY to watch cause knew exactly what she was asking! He shudder YeaNO or anything! So she fought with him for about an hour before he finally said yes he would share. Then he wouldn't even go to my sister while she was holding Mikes... He is so willful... Mom says he is JUST like my brother Bryan and that I am lucky Mikes is so placid and tolerant of Sean cause I wasn't of Bryan... He would get WAILED on if he was taking my crap... And Mikes just starts crying or tattling!

Oh the joys that I'get to look forward to in 5 months and thereafter
LOL yuppers! Kiddos have awesome timing.... My mom has teenagers O_O she is always complaining about the noise and fights and out right badness of them... >.> My oldest younger brother will be 20 at the end of the year he and my almost 15 year old youngest brother smashed a window horsing around in the dining room... A window that is almost as tall as me!!!
LOL, Sia!! ... and congrats on your pregnancy (I didn't know until just now). Are you looking forward to having kids (despite our "mommy is overwhelmed" comments)?! (besides, the first year is just one of sleep deprivation; it's only After that that things start getting fun ('cuz the kid starts getting into stuff they shouldn't)) ;)
... and that's minor stuff, Jaz... they were just playing -- not like they were out for blood, right?! |
Yeah that didn't make my mom want to kill them any less... lol
That would be an expensive window to replace @[email protected] My brothers were horsing around in their room when we were younger. One pushed the other and busted out part of their bedroom window. $700 later, I didn't get new school clothes that year. Boys  haha.
Sia- It might not even be a full year of sleep deprivation. If you can get them sleeping through the night early on, it's actually pretty nice. Provided they don't have colic or anything. >.< Melody had a bit of colic when she was a baby and drove me bananas because once I got both her and Aaron calmed down and almost asleep she would wake up crying and was unconsolable for at least an hour. An hour I needed to be sleeping. Sleep deprived mommies can go a little crazy... In any case, at about 5 months I just couldn't deal with the midnight feedings any more and got them to sleep through the night. It was just too much with two babies. Kura got away with it until she was almost a year old...becuase I didn't know she could sleep through the night! Her pediatrician told me she should be, and I looked at her...she'd been lying to me! The little monster wailed like she would die if she didn't get more food at midnight and 4 am, but she was LYING!! I ignored her cries two nights in a row, and she's been sleeping through the night ever since. Lol. Kids are fun. (: Aaron is my stubborn child. We'll put him in the corner for fighting/hitting/tripping/stealing toys/not listening etc and let him out after 3 minutes, but he says no, and chooses to stay in there until he decides he can leave the corner. And at that point he starts crying asking if he can leave...well yeah! We said you could 10 minutes ago!! The girls can be stubborn, but not nearly as much as Aaron. I think he gets it from me. :x |
Yeah the window was about a grand to replace... My mom actually took it better then she would have if we were kids... But she was still mad... It had to be custom cut and the glass required was massive... YAY hundred year old houses!
Mikes was a decent baby he slept nearly all night... He also slept next to me though too so that is more then likely why... Sean however STILL gets up.. He has daddy wrapped VERY tightly around his finger... It doesn't help though that if he doesn't get someone to come to him he will get out of bed open the door hop the gate and come to the foot of our bed crying >.>* That child I swear!!! Sean is definitely my trouble child... He is extremely willful... He wants everyone to do everything for him and he will be so cruel to Mikes... |
