Sounds like something Kura would come up with randomly. I keep thinking that I should write down her stories and sell them as random children books. lol.

Mikes makes up the most interesting stories... Usually based on something in reality... My favorite to date was Mikes was talking about getting me angry to my little sister. He told her that my whole face gets red (which might be true) but then he started talking about how I grow REALLLLLY REAAAAAAALLLY tall and my head gets really REALLY big! It is so funny cause I don't get angry often. Frustrated yeah but I don't yell very often or anything like that but when I do I go all out ><; And apparently my body matched the magnitude of my frustration and anger lol...

Melody 05-29-2010 01:57 PM

lol, that's cute.
Kuras stories are just totally random. Unicorns, dragons, her castle, random quests prince goes on etc. It's amusing.

Still talking about TV? Meh. Don't see anything redeeming about it and my kids -my family- are much happier without it in the house. We don't miss it.

Jaz 05-29-2010 02:19 PM

We are actually talking about kids stories Blaze.... ^^ I love to hear about kids thoughts through the stories they tell.... Mikes favorites involve cars and planes attacking dragons on a hill and stuff lol

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 02:27 PM

LOL. That sounds like some of my kids' stories too... dragons, knights, all kinds of weapons ( ) and whatever else he comes up with... pirates... sharks.... airplanes, cars, etc. They ARE funny though. *luffles kids stories*

Jaz 05-29-2010 02:33 PM

I have really considered writing up some of the stories he tells... He comes up with some whoppers! I call him Big Fish when he is telling stories he is getting from real life though lol... Sadly whenever he tells a story there isn't a computer or paper and pencil easily at my disposal T_T

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 02:37 PM

*nod* I was goign to write and illustrate some of my kids' stories too... I still may... but not right now. There's enough on my plate at the moment.

Jaz 05-29-2010 02:39 PM

I definitely feel you there ><;; I would want to tell them the way they are told to me and my memory isn't so great anymore <_<; I will have to wait ;.;

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 02:42 PM

*nod* For me, there's just so many things at once that I can take on... and right now, i have enough to do. But perhaps when a couple other things settle down, I'll actually have the time, patience and incentive to do it.

I've totally thought about doing this. Sakura tells me a story every day on our way home from school, I never remember them when I get home though, but when I'm driving I can see the images that go with her words...it would be so cute. Even if they're not published, it would be something cute for her to look at later on and go "seriously? I came up with this??" xD

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 02:53 PM

exactly!! But that's why I will (sometimes) pull the kids over to the computer and type up their stories as they retell them... unfortunately, getting them to the computer seems to freeze their little brains from the story they were JUST telling me...

Melody 05-29-2010 02:58 PM

Yeah I've tried to have her repeat them before, everything changes and I still can't keep up with it. xD I still want to do it though! lol.

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 02:59 PM

I don't blame you. Kids have such great imaginations (before they get ruined by "reality" LOL! )

Melody 05-29-2010 03:01 PM

Friggan reality, it's out to get them!

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 03:03 PM

ROFL!! well, after all... a dog is supposed to be colored brown, not blue or purple, riiiight? ;)

Melody 05-29-2010 03:04 PM

So true! Any purple dog should be shot on sight! Reality does not allow it!!

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 03:05 PM

*30 seconds*

Jaz 05-29-2010 08:09 PM

I've seen purple dogs >.> and pink and green ^^ Mikes apparently believes his hair is pink and brown and his legs are yellow lol

Blazestorm 05-29-2010 09:27 PM

*likes purple dogs* it means kids are creative adn not yet corrupted by the reality we inflict upon them! :XD

Melody 05-30-2010 12:53 AM

Inflicting reality upon kids is mean. I don't mind them coming up with their own alternate reality. It's not that much fun growing up.

I just had a "you go to bed" "no you go to bed" "you first" "no you first" conversation with my daughter. lolz.

Blazestorm 05-30-2010 12:54 AM

LOL at the conversation with your daughter, Mel! They're just sooooo weird sometimes, aren't they? :XD

I like alternate realities. They tend to be more fun!!

Melody 05-30-2010 01:49 AM

They're random. I told her it was almost 9 pm and that she needed to go to bed, and normally bed time is 8. And she's just like "no it's not!!" She's so silly when people are over.

But here it is 30 minutes later (bed time routine takes like 20 minutes. xD) and the kids are all asleep. That was fast.

Jaz 05-30-2010 04:57 AM

Mikes can read the clock he knows when it is not bedtime... But unfortunately he doesn't GET what I mean when I say it is "past" bedtime lol...

I have and alternate reality I visit when I am stressed.... I like it much better there most days though I did realize that it is becoming more and more of a reality- reality and I don't like that real life is impeding on my fantasy land T_T

Melody 05-30-2010 12:08 PM

I think Kura might be able to read the clock, but we don't have that many around the house. the one on the computer is really small so hard to see and she doesn't really spend time in the kitchen.

I don't know if it's an "alternate reality" that I go to but when I'm stressed I find myself staring at the fish tank.
