So we got the cake thing figured out and we might end up helping with some of the prep of the food, but hey...at least we are getting the cake we want.

So, it's been a while since I've been here, and I think I'm finally starting to figure out why. For some reason, my anxiety has been going up the last few months. I'm sure some of it has to do with being out of therapy and off meds since last September, some is because of the stress of classes and trying to make new friends and all, and some...I have no idea. I just have so much difficulty being social, even in a virtual setting like this. I've been mostly enjoying the Facebook games because I don't need to really interact with people, but even they are putting pressure on me and I'm starting to play them less too. |

Did they ever fix the donating? I never got any of those items but I got the set!

No, they couldn't get the donating fixed, so at the end of the event (they extended it two days because of this) they added the tool set to the machine pop up that you made the items at. Send me a pm on duckyprincess and I'll send you a tool set from there :3

Yeah I did. We stayed in the sound mostly so there weren't many large waves, minus when other boats went by us. We caught a lot of fish. I don't remember catching them all, but when we were catching them it was a huge all at once sort of thing, so it doesn't really surprise me. xD The kids all did well too. So that makes me happy. I don't have kids that get sea sick!

I'm a biiiiig water fan. So knowing that is a total plus. So now I just have to get them into swimming lessons and then beach trips/boat trips/ learning to surf can begin! ^o^

Man we had to go to our insurance agent today and it made me start thinking... He was trying to get us to buy a life insurance and health insurance (and a ton of other things) I DO want those things just some part of me does not trust the agency we chose... I want to know my money isn't being thrown away...
But he had us do a "step ladder" chart gauging what we need to pay for each month and in a year and in 5 etc etc... And what we want in the far out future... and I now I am thinking on it all... I wish Dillon were home though cause I want to talk about it more and write stuff down without a creepy insurance salesman breathing down our necks... One of the things I want to do is take Dillon to California and show him the beach and Yellow stone etc <3 |

He told us it was a mandatory meeting to make sure everything with the house went through and smoothly and everything.... But really it was more of a sales pitch... He tried getting us to do everything with them credit cards to life insurance to 401K's OMG dude.... NO... Get it through your head... Then he tried telling me that the check I gave him to start was a bad check and I needed to right another... Umm... NO... even right now we have more then enough to cover the car insurance so there :P
Yeah Dillon is a Colorado native he was born in Canyon City and has lived here (for the most part minus college in Denver for a couple years) since he was 7-8 I believe! |
