don't know what a flat iron is O_O
My nails are short... These last couple weeks have done a number to my nerves... ><;; But I don't normally paint them... Even when they are long... They get messed up soooo fast ><; |
It looks like a curling iron but the top and bottom pieces are flat rectangles that open like an alligator mouth. You close it on your hair and slide it down the strand and it straightens the hair. Came from when people would iron their hair in the 60's only this way is safer.

Ohhhhh my sister has one of those she has SUPER curly hair O_o My hair is wave... But only slightly... Blowdrying it is all I need to make it fully straight...

I can blow-dry it straight but it still is poofy sometimes. The straightner helps w/that.

I have one of the thin flat irons...and I can use it to do curls in my hair or straighten it out! xD I love it! I think it's called a herstyler or something to that effect.
I really only use it for my above the temple curl things though. They drive me crazy. I haven't been able to get my hair dryer to make it look straight when I've tried it...so I keep my hair dryer packed away in some random drawer in the bathroom and just use the flat iron. |
I have curly cues around my forehead and temples... They show up if I play in the rain it is so weird... O_o but I do... The rest of my hair just turns wavy though...

If I let my hair air dry (which I normally do) my curlies show up and drive me bonkers. The rest of my hair gets a bit of a wave but it's mostly straight. I just can't stand having the curls RIGHT THERE. They make my "bangs" puff out and look horrible if I don't tame them! xD

If I want a rock n Roll look I just let my hair air dry or use a difuser. It goes wild on it's own.

I have to use gel and moose to get a rock n roll look. xD But Scott hates it when I do that because then my hair is stiff and "not fun"

I agree with Scott I've done that a couple times... I don't like it cause it is all stiff and yuck...

I like the look of it. Just not the feel. crunchy hair isn't cool...but it looks pretty. xD

My old boss did her hair like that everyday... O_O I think that gives me a little bit of an extra incentive not to like it lol

that's a lot of hair product to use daily. o.o I haven't done it in years...I thought about doing it today but the day is almost over. Then I was like OMG I could do it tomorrow! and tehn realized that if I went into labor I'd have really horrible hair and it would get sticky and nasty and that's just not cool...but perhaps like wearing your favorite pair of panties around when your period should arrive, it would entice the baby to come out of pure inconvenience for me? lol.

I put my hair in piggy braids after I had Justin. I couldn't stand it in the way and it looked kinda cute. Prob is it made me look way too young ;p

haha, After my shower I'll do the random scrunchy rock n roll look. After baby is born, I'll see about getting the ends dyed pink. xD Though I hear you can dye light hair with kool aid. Anyone ever tried that?

I've heard that too but I don't think it is permanent like a couple washes or something...

Awesome. Maybe I'll do that today once I get the house cleaned. Give me some motivation to get the house done at least. I've finally got the living room picked up, and laundry in the washer...gotta vacuum and get the kitchen finished...then I can play with some kool aid!! Though I think I only have grape. Purple would be just as cool as pink right? xD
