ROFL, yeah... I need to change maybe. But I still like this pink look.
Hiya Leela! <3 |
I believe in "Happily Ever After" too Maeve, but it's not quite like the story books. It does exist, despite having gone through a lot of crap in my life.
|
*snuggles Twinnie* I hope your day is going well.
Happily Ever After? Hmm... sometimes I think I've given up on that one for good. |
I don't know why, but I just can't give that one up. Go check out Rue's thread, I replied to you about the Phillies tickets.
|
Yes, I just saw and replied back.
I still love the idea of Happily Ever After, but whether or not I still believe in it... and that it will happen to me... not so sure. I *do* believe that everything happens for a reason, though. :) |
Definitely happens for a reason. But don't let that girl start stuff with you till she's nice and divorced. Too much drama.
|
Happily ever after is possible- it's just more work than most people realize
At least- that's my opinion ;) |
Darn tooting Sia!
|
OMG! You want a 5k dress *Faints*
|
I agree too, sia, and finding someone that is up for putting in that work is the real challenge!
And, twin, I won't do anything of the sort. I have my eyes wide open regarding this situation and I've even told her that if she does choose to end her marriage that she will most definitely need some time afterwards by herself. I will not be a rebound for her rebound. ROFL (She claims her marriage/relationship was a rebound from our original one. LOL) So much drama. I hate drama. |
Good girl twinnie! Girls are far more drama than they are worth. Definitely.
Yes Lilim my dear, I want a 5k dress. And I'm almost there too! |
Ugg - girls really are drama.
Even the ones who swear they hate drama seem to breed drama. |
Oh heck yeah. Sometimes I wonder why I bother with them at all.
|
Because they're soft and squishy
|
And when you have their mouths duct taped and their hands tied they are quite enjoyable to have around. *nods*
|
LOL @ soft and squishy hehehe
And yes, the ones that say they hate it the most are the ones who create the most... ...well, except for me, of course. LOL Seriously! |
Haha - I know what you mean.
My one friend always goes on and on about how much she hates drama - but she is always in the center of drama and causing way more than is really necessary. I somehow end up being sucked into it all because I'm a good sounding board for people - so I get both sides of the drama coming to me to talk about their side. |
sia, the same thing happens to me. Although I don't have very many lesbian friends (one of the reasons being because they are the most dramatic of anyone) the few that I do have always come to me about all of their drama. There have been a few physical fights I've had to break up, and I've also had to tell them repeatedly that I do NOT want to hear their trivial drama crap anymore so go tell someone else. ROFL I refuse to get involved.
|
I feel like the group mediator sometimes
I think part of the reason I get stuck in the mediator roll is because I generally don't take sides and just point out what the other person is thinking- or just let someone rant with them knowing I'm not going to go tell someone what was said about them. |
Yes you are more then half way there <3
|
sia, that is the position I took, too, before I had to break up physical fights and got hit in the process a few times. LOL I do like to give my friends advice and also take theirs and they always know they can come to me without me ratting them out to the other side.
Well, I didn't lose my job like I thought I was going to, but I have a written warning. My office manager has it out for me, but the meeting was with the general manager and she is a very fair woman who I am comfortable with so it went a lot better than I thought it would. I'm sure if it were up to my office manager I would have been canned on the spot. Basically what the meeting was about was, although I'm never rude on the phone with customers, sometimes my tone portrays that I'm not exactly thrilled either. And we listened to one of my phone calls and even I could hear it... so I was asked if I was burned out, which sometimes I feel that I am, but I also need this job until I find a better one... so I will stick it out for as long as I can and just make the best of it. That's all I can really do for now. :) |
I don't want to be involved in any drama, but I like to listen to drama! O_O
|
Hi Eternal and thread!
I hate drama..ugh |
Good morning!
Glad you still have a job - I can imagine burnout being a problem with phone service type jobs - I'll keep my fingers crossed you find something better :) |
Twinnie, that is great news! Sucks about the manager, but at least you still have your job.
The soft and squishy aspect of girls is pretty much what's keeping me going. And the fact that, as Queen said, duct tape does help them become more enjoyable  |
