Exactly Queen. I'm really lucky with how cool my roomies are in regards to using stuff and whatnot. I'm slowly putting some of my stuff around the apartment though, it's nice to have some of my own touches.
So, tomorrow begins the trip to Gettysburg. We're apparently leaving at 6am. I am NOT happy about that, but it just means that my friend gets first turn behind the wheel. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that I'm able to access internet while i'm down there! |

Have fun in Gettysburg Jessi!! Ive always wanted to visit there, especially now with the girls. It would be educational for Toni, and then at night I would want to take one of the ghost tours. They sound amazing!!

Jessi, I was watching a show on the Food Network (thanks Jess for my addiction to that station now..lol) and the woman that does the italian show does these weekend trips and this one was in Boston. Got to see Fenway Park and some great restaurants and shops. I would love to visit there sometime. |

I finally have a halfway decent amount of time to sit in the commons and play, so here is my update from Gettysburg!
the camp is going well, although our days are pretty well packed from am-pm. And like i said, we can only access the internet in common areas, and of COURSE the dorm I'm in doesn't have wireless in the common area...:angry: But I am having fun. although I wish I'd known I wasn't required to attend workshops since I'm only a chaperon, not an adviser (we were under the impression I did). If I had, I'd have probably grabbed the car and at least went downtown and done some of the historical stuff. tomorrow though, we're going on a bus tour of the battlegrounds, which should be a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to it. One of these days though I'm going to come back down here on pleasure. |

Yup, I've been signed up for the Journalism workshops, so I can hopefully be able to help with the editing since my friend the adviser is really bad at it. And I had to go with the students on a tour of the publisher's factory since my friend had a workshop during that time. I'm REALLY looking forward to tomorrow night's tour of the Gettysburg battlefields. Like I said, I'd love to have had the chance to do more of the geeky historical stuff.

Well, the internet at home is still craptacular (I think it's the actual modem...), but I'm back at work after my 'vacation' and am actually catching up on stuff better than I had thought I would be. Here's hoping that trend continues all week!
