I don't drink a whole lot of caffeine so I've not had to go through the headaches but I don't want to suffer through that so I'll stick to what I do now.

If I got a couple of days without any caffeine I will get headachey, but it's not so bad. i typically only have one caffeinated drink a day unless I go out for dinner or drinks with friends--it's hard to get a mixed drink I like that doesn't have caffeine in it (they don't typically keep caffeine free soda on tap) |

Most schools don't, but I work at Brandeis, a Jewish college. Basically, only schools with either a high Jewish population or schools that are uber-PC give the High Holidays off because no one will be there anyway since it's such an important holiday. |

That's cool that you work at a school that celebrates holidays. My son is in public school and they can't even really talk about the holidays anymore - it's getting ridiculous. Instead of Halloween they celebrate fall. Instead of Christmas they celebrate winter, etc. They are so afraid of insulting someone that they make things too generic. I say teach and celebrate all the holidays. It is good for kids to learn early that there are many different viewpoints.

When I was in school we talked about all the holidays, although we never spoke about the Christian roots of the Christian holidays. Plus, college is way different in regards to that stuff. Not to mention the fact that, although we're secular, we are still Jewish-founded; it's kind of silly for us to work on the most important holidays of the year since most employees and students would be out anyway.

Actually Rue, I'm doing a whole lot of nothing and I'm having trouble keeping up! I'm really glad it's so quiet in here today and that Seito is keeping me entertained.

Sure you do Seito! I only have about another 2 hours here, then I go home for the weekend. I HATE not having internet in my room, I miss so much here.
