Yeah it's long distance, so it's really sucky sometimes when I miss him.
We met on Gaia, but in reality, we had been planning to get together and have him stay at my place since Christmas, but then there was complications. So instead we held off until summer vacation (which wasn't easy) and each got to spend a week in the other's home. <3 He took a greyhound to get up here, then we both took one back down (no way I was traveling along for 26 hours O<) to his place. His parents drove us back to my house after our second week together and then they drove home. Only an irritating 12 hour or so ride that time. First time meeting someone from online. xD Very, very stressful. But we'd mailed each other and spoken on the phone and had video conferences enough I knew what to expect. And really, he's too much of a pushover to be an ax murderer. xD Regardless, initially we both spent time surrounded by others until we were comfortable alone. First impressions and what not. >P |
oooh... i met a few people in real life from online... but these include males and females... yeah, i would really need to get to know the person to actually meet them... it's always a bit scary. and yeah, the buddy system works great. XD

Nah, actually, we were both really sick on the bus ride. Almost had to call it off so I could go home. ;o; It was the car ride where there was near death. xD |

XD @seito: thank you. tho i didn't really win it anywhere... it wasn't from the auctions... tho i guess the timing kinda feels that way...
