my parents own a small wedding shop, so i got it custom made there... what i love the most about my dress is that i kinda designed it... ^^;
well, i looked at stuff and chose aspects of what i liked... so yeah... i'm proud of the dress... <3

if i get married, i hope my parents are retired yet... XD cuz i'll definitely get a great dress if they aren't... XD

actually, i was trying on stuff for my parents... to make sure that a few dresses actually looked nice... well, someone tried on a dress and i guess it looked horrible (not custom made)... so my parents wanted to know was it that the dress didn't fit the girl's body or if the cutting was actually bad... when i tried it on, it was ok (miyu has average size everything, except maybe small chest, but yeah...)... so my parents concluded, that the dress was fine, and they don't have to ask for a new one from the tailors... XD

Though I will probably take business classes at some point and start up my own business. But it will still be a while.

I will. But a studio will be a business, and I will have to know how to manage it if I want it to be successful! I guess I could do freelance, but you only get as much as you put into it if you are freelance. ^^;;

Tori, I am sure you can get a lot of advice over internet. By just searching it. lol. I found a lot of advice when searching the designs of wedding dress. A lot of examples like, short people better wear long dress, people with nice shape wear mermaid dress, people with big bum wear A line or ball gown...

i don't hang out at the store enough to know about fashion... but i'm guessing stuff that aren't very wide or puffy, so that it elongates you... ^^;
