hi hi all... sorry for the inactivity... RL is taking up so much time.. i'm so tired lately that i've been falling asleep (not by choice) by 10pm... O.o
whitebeast i don't like to take pictures very much, but my mom does, so she took a lot... i took a lot of pictures of objects and scenery but not of myself... XD melody yeah... we went through a travel agency. tho my mom says that going through Hong Kong ones would be better... well, that... and we love to shop there... and she checked prices and they were cheaper... and HK usually has more variety of tours as in different types... (i.e. focus on sights vs. focus on shopping... lol... XD ) whereas in the US, it's only one tour and hope there's enough people to make it happen... >.> twizted hi hi... <3 how are you? i haven't been on at the same time you are for a while... T_T whitebeast you are just like some of my friends... they love taking pictures of food. i think we took some, but honestly, none of the food in our trip really "wow"ed us... ^^; scenery tho, i took a lot... my mom somewhat complained why all the pictures i took barely have people... she likes to take scenery too, but for her, it's 8/10 with people in it, whereas for me, it's 8/10 does NOT have people in it... Actually, even if the food wasn't too wow... I was like "TAKE PICS!" Since there was such a SMALL chance for me to see these kinds of foods all over again---well if ever, it won't look as polished and awesome as this for sure!
I know it isn't much but... I swear. When I went to Thailand, it was the first time I ever got to taste vegetarian spaghetti. So I took pics. And those cute little food sweets... @[email protected]; But yes... Food wise? Nothing beats home. XD ...Then again my mom's rationale why she likes taking pics of herself with the people and stuff like that is 'If I don't get a pic with the place, how would people believe me that I've been there if I just show scenery'. Then I say, well if you weren't there then you wouldn't be able to take pics right? She replies that 'People could always say that someone else took it and I'm just taking the credit for it'. He he he. Yeah! ^^ Nothing beats food when we get home. Or soo is it just our homesickness/fondness for home that makes us think that way aye? At any rate... They're still fun to observe. I like seeing the cultural traits in the food. They show up a lot if you just take things into context. ^^;
WOW. Do our moms know each other or what? XD Or is it the generation? -rubs chin- ...It's kinda weird though. Why would we lie? >> -shoes receipts and plane tickets- THERE! But that kinda seems...not so nice? It's a weird short of bragging. |

i've been away a lot too... work is killing me... (almost literally) and for my little freetime, i'm not online that much anymore. i go on solia a bit, but usually that's about it. i come on to check messages, but usually don't have the time to just sit here and chat. T_T what is work/school doing to us? T_T i hope everyone is doing well... <3 hopefully i'll be able to be more active soon enough. <3 |
