Speaking of Angels and Demons, I just read it this week when I went on vacation. Plot twist after plot twist. Great story, but I don't think I'm going to read any other of Brown's books because I hear they follow the same formula. Why read the Da Vinci Code when Angels and Demons is the souped up, heavy action version of the same thing? I think a follow up might be a bit of a disappointment.

Well i donated 3 times to get 3 masks and traded them for the 3 nice items i have. Then a nice user Speed gave me 2 roses along with my one black scarf (im still trying to remember the names of all these items ^.^')
I just LOVE Dan Brown though!!! If you know of any other really good authors, let me know, id love to read another actual good book ^.^

yeah, its so darn hard to earn gold on here, and they dont give u any starter clothes or [email protected]@

well, it's not really that hard :> you just need to know where to go at certain times of day.

when there's only a few people online, you should visit the dead threads of the community and general discussions and input your thoughts/opinions on issues discussed there. take your time to type in your ideas. other dead threads are in the art and media forums.

when there are plenty of people online, you should visit the active threads, like the menewshan nation, the exchange, and the quest forum. make short posts in conversations on different threads. try to be in at least 3 threads at a time, so you can chat with more people and continuously gain gold :wink:

i used to always look at how long it takes to earn this much gold and that... but after a few weeks, i lost interest in gaining gold and just come here to chat XD i still gain gold anyways :> so there's no hurry :>

you don't really need starter items here, as the prices of some items are really just easy to earn. :>

Oh, that'd probably do it. I've never actually bothered to ask my parents to let me borrow money to purchase pixels. XD But when I turn 18 next year and can get a debit card, I have a pretty good idea what I'll be purchasing. Hehe.

I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett's work. Whenever I get my hands on one of his novels I devour it. He's a quick witted British author who has even teamed up with Neil Gaiman (Sandman comic dude) to write a novel or two. I love his Discworld serial/series. He writes a fantastic fantasy-comedy. =3

just remember when you strat donating- DONT GO NUTS THE ITEMS ARENT REAL. I donated about 50$ to gaia in December and like yeah, cool but now its like ok....the items are getting lamer and theres no way to earn items i WANT like the AFK or Minis....

Ill havta look up some titles of that author, i need to rant and rave about another book other than Da Vinci code and Angels and Demons.

i never really liked the art of One Piece, so I never got into it. and im kinda a Late Naruto fan, i read the first manga but thats about it. I REFUSE to watch the anime- its a disgrace to Naruto fans everywhere -.-

I probably wouldn't go THAT crazy. I'd probably donate about 5 dollars to get the two monthly items and that's it. I've got enough money to buy some cool-ish Gaia items, but I have no ambition anymore. I'm a total lurker on Gaia and get lost in the cracks all the time.

Terry Pratchett is a great author and you won't regret it. The only thing you have to remember is that his Discworld serialization/series has something of a reading order. Usually it doesn't matter much. All the stories take place on Discworld, but many pertain to different characters. Published order will lead you down a road of a book about one character then a book about another. There's not much story to follow from book to book, so it usually doesn't matter, but it's good to keep in mind. For instance, there are a bunch of books with Rincewind's adventures then a bunch of other books about The witches, etc. Of course, Pratchett has some completely non-Discworld books.

I'm a bit of an anime nut and I've read manga too though. XD I'm such a Narutard that every week I wait for the next chapter to come out. Ehe. Death Note and GTO are probably my favorite manga so far, though. I haven't read to the end of either, but whatever. I stopped reading Death Note after I couldn't deal with the death. XD

well i only go that nuts if the item is actually good (like the winter rose can turn into like 6 different things so i bought multiples.... same with the flame sword) and the letter contained 3 different items that month XD

a GREAT Manga to pick up is Mugen Spiral, such a great story and its so funny and the art is AWESOME!! <3 Im a HUGE CLAMP fan as well, and any CLAMPO stories are great!!! the best is prolly Cardcaptor Sakura

The Disoworld novles are very good, even though i've only read two as yet.
