Dessert, when work gets slow, a nap sounds like the right thing to do.

I want to nap right now, but i know i shouldn't otherwise i can't sleep later..

Today work actually carried me to 1pm. Now I am sitting here doing a whole lot of nothing.

At least the work week is half over.

I am glad you were somewhat busy at work today :)

Tomorrow should be busier, hooray! Next week my boss is gone on vacation, means I can watch movies on my phone while I work.

Dessert, believe it or not, the movie in the background makes me ten times more productive and my numbers are way better.

Really, i bet, but i probably would get distracted by the movie..... i just wish i could listen to music while at work...

Dessert, we are allowed to listen to music as long as we have head phones in and the volume is at a reasonable level. It's one of my favorite things about the job, no more answering phones and dealing with angry irate people. Not that I have too many issues with handling irate people, it's just nice to get yelled at and called a bitch.

I have to deal with irritated coworkers on a normal basis >.>" and they dont usually say things to me they just talk behind your back...

Oh yes, we have some of those at my work as well. I try to avoid that as much as possible and as Team Lead I am suppose to be impartial and help everyone.

Do you feel that you are impartial? -idle curiosity since i know it's hard to be totally impartial-

I try to be and try to moderate my tone of voice. My tolerance of dumb or repetitive questions can dip and the annoyance will seep into my voice. Worked hard on controlling my irritation and maintaining a calm voice.
And there are people at my work that have been doing files for a long time that will ask the dumbest questions rather then use their own brains and that is the part that drives me completely crazy. And if you don't give them the answer they want to hear, they will go to another team lead and ask the same question. They aren't suppose too, but that hasn't stopped them before.

So very true, Dessert, so very true. It's like they would rather have someone else think for them, then do that particular thing themselves. My parents raised me to use my brain and only if I could not figure out what the issue was to seek outside assistance.

Oh, yes i am the same way. I wish i could get hired somewhere that pays good wages and tell them, I don't know what the job requires but i am a quick learner and if i don't know something i am not afraid of asking, but i generally try to figure things out and work efficiently and they would hire me on the spot.

Somewhere will give you that chance. Quick learners are what most places want and someone will see your potential.
