Doing all right. Trying to keep myself entertained here at work. Kind of slow and boring today. Got my fingers crossed that tomorrow they will let us go early, but who knows. They always tell us at the last minute anyways, hard to make plans.

We don't get the day off, but we might get a shortened day. The company I work for is giving us a floating holiday since the 4th lands on a saturday. So I am going to use my floating holiday on monday July 13th, extend my vacation away from this place.

Ah yes... floating holidays. IBM used to do that too.

But only get the floating holiday if don't take Friday or Monday off. Which there are a few people taking one of the days. Management would not allow people take both Friday and Monday. I will one of the few people here for both days. Part of the skeleton crew.

Hate when that happens. Wicked tired today. Want nothing more then go home, eat my mac and cheese, take a shower, email the boyfriend and head off to bed. Sounds like a solid plan...but I bet I will be asked to stay overtime since I always am.

Overtime is kicking my ass truthfully. Kind of tired because of it, but it can be mentally exhausting picking up the pieces of other people's failures.

Not really. Kind of need the money which is why I am killing myself with the overtime. I'll be okay though, got a long weekend coming up in a week, having that will tide me over until September and taking a week off at the end of the month.

September is the vacation that I am really looking forward too. Quality time with the boyfriend in Vegas. Doesn't get much better then that. Plus we have this huge room at Treasure Island. :boogie:
