Don't think they are going to let us go early today. They would have sent out an email last night about it and nothing was received by anyone. Oh well. It's fine with me.

Not much, just getting my work done. Thinking about what kind of fireworks I want tomorrow. There are the ground flower thingies dad loves, gotta get some more of them, but I have a bunch of stuff left over from last year, so we will have a good assortment to begin with, need to add a few new things. :P

When I was working at IBM, the day before a holiday, the managers usually came around and told everybody to go home around 1:00...

Our AVP has been trying to figure out if we are getting off earlier, but so far nothing has come down the pipeline. There are other business units around us that will be leaving at 3. Lucky people.

If I leave early, that means I won't be able to talk to anyone for awhile. Maybe Tara will let me borrow her laptop for the night. Hmmm...need to make my play list for the Ipod and the trip next week.

Is it a long trip?

The trip is about 8 hours at the longest, we can make it there in about 7, if we speed. And we do, a lot. :lol: Nothing like driving fast, listening to good music and having fun with your family and friends. It will be me, my sister and my friend Tara in my car.

This will be the second Road trip this year to the cabin. The first one was with my little sister, which went pretty well considering that she and I are like oil and water. She can just be...self centered is the best way to describe her.

Wow if you guys had been fighting the whole time, that would ruin the trip xD hopefully it goes well again.

We actually didn't fight for once, it was kind of amazing. Usually we do. Our views and opinions are just way different, but she's been on her meds like she is supposed to be. It makes her a much easier person to be around.

Man is it just me or is mene slow?

Probably because of the 4th of July that is tomorrow. Most people might be traveling right now to see family and don't have mobile internet access. It might pick up later on, or be dead all weekend and come Monday, lots of people will be back to chat.

Relaxing is pretty much all I have been doing all day. The building is pretty much empty except for our group and 2 others. Blows.
