That's what's so scary about life.
The most "normal"-looking person can be a monster.
How do you know? There's no warning label on people.
It's one of the things that makes these avatar sites nice. You can chat with people and be friendly without taking any chances. If you're careful, nobody would even know what part of the world you live in.
I'm not quite *that* paranoid, but it can get kinda spooky. I always lock my doors, even during the day... and I don't usually go out alone at night.

Mhmm. Even the nicest people can end up being wackos
Its really sad. I hate when you know someone and then they suddenly freak out and become a totally different person than you knew.
I lock my doors just for precautions. I'm not really concerned that someone will break in, because I live in a really small town, and there are bigger fish to fry. Like me neighbor. They be quite rich. lol
Plus I have walked home at 2-5 at night before, on quite a few occasions. I dont stress about it.

Ahhh, but those are only normal safty actions. XD Stalkers/weirdos can be the least problem - robbers are much worse or just any drunk group, on street at night. *shudders*
I am not afraid of stalkers, though. =P I just don't beleive anyone would buy a plane ticket to just come to Latvia and then try to guess in which city I live in, etc. XD Most people I know live on the other side of world from me, literally.

I dont tend to worry about stalkers much, unless the person starts asking lots of weird questions. I'll never tell someone where I live, though, because I live in such a small town that I could be found so easily (pop of 1,200-1,400). And I go outside to check the mail almost each day or to just ride my bike, so I would be seen around. :ninja:
