I have enough problem with clingy children having a clingy mom would be too much. Roo- 29 seriously? and her mom is still doing stuff for her? That's insane. |
No lie mel, the things she expects her to do are unreal. I remember when I was pregnant with Toni, Tab was 19, and she had to be home when the streetlights came on. I was stunned, and not only that, some one had to walk her halfway there and her mother would stand on the porch and watch her till she got to the front door

That is so sad! My mom tries to but in sometimes becasue she's over-protective and all, but she raised me to be independent and to be able to do things on my own. Hell, I started making my own Dr appointments and whatnot when I was 16. And I had my own job, and went out and everything, even late at night sometimes. She was always concerned when I went out at night, and usually stayed awake in bed, but she never tried to stop me from living my life.

My mom always wanted me home by 11 on weekends and 10 on school nights. But it didn't always happen that way. :P She never did much to stop me though.

My parents were pretty cool about curfews. We never really had any, as long as they knew who we were with.

Im never going to be that kind of mother. I want Toni to be independent, not coddled. It just amazes me that she has Tab do some of the things she makes her do. Its insane!

That's good Jess. I imagine that it's hard to let your child be independent, but it's so important for both the child and yourself.

I hear that Jess. It's not like she doesn't try to tell her mom she's an adult either. That just makes her mom go off on her as to how she doesn't give her mom any respect and never does anything for her...blah blah blah. Tab does EVERYTHING her mom asks of her and yet gets no credit for it if she says no to her mother.

I think they snuck it in sometimes last night XD it was just too cute not to add :P I think I am going to buy a couple of the chocolate ones since they are a limited time only. but I will get them later on. I want to try for the hairpin before I spend all of my gold. >.<
