I just borrowd Dead and Gone from the library when it came in - took it home and read it in 1 night- and then returned it.
Since I order the books for the library i knew it was coming in so I put a hold on it so I could have it right away :P I don't know why I thought that was only the 8th . .I better go re-check my book list 0_o Also - I try not to visit amazon anymore - if I do I buy stuff :lol: |

I am so excited...get paid today. Of course, after the money hits my account most of it disappears. Very sad and depressing. Stupid bills.

so tired today - stayed up and finished my book and now Im paying for it. Maybe I will have a nap later, but I doubt it.

So I bought the dodgers/giants tickets for dad for father's day. Got the two for what it would have cost for one! So damn happy. He should appreciate that. I didn't buy the parking thingy, but he swing the 15 bucks it will cost. About to get my hair cut shorter. Oh boy. It was getting too shaggy. Can't stand it in my eyes and I am tired of putting bobby pins in it. |
I was really happy when I got mine chopped. I've let it grow back in a bit but I doubt it will get much longer. I have really thick hair so it's just too hot when it's long.

Im due for a haircut too......It was so long last summer it almost went to my waist. But I did a drastic cut and took it to above my shoulders. And it was in good enough condition to ship off to locks of love :)
Finished the first Southern vampire book - I about died at who did it!! Now I have to wait till Monday to get the next 2. I got 4 more Iris Johansen books today so I should be occupied till I get my hands on the next ones. And got my very own library card, so I can reserve books myself :D I havent owned a library card in years |

I know - I was so shocked at who did it! The rest of the books are full of twist & turns too . .. and they are such fast reads. I read a few of them in one night :lol:
I love my library card - I use it a lot . . . and i just keep putting more and more stuff on hold and on my list of books t put on hold once I have a manageable amount of books again. I'm reading 3 right now :gonk: |

Tell the Asshat that your show is way better then his show could ever be and he should sit down and watch it with you so he can learn to appreciate a well thought television program.
Besides, Anna Paquin is just great in the series. She's so girl next door that it's refreshing to watch her play Sookie. |

Waiting for Tab to get her slow ass here so we can go to the library. All the books I got on Saturday have to go back. While not in a series, events in books before them took place that are influencing the story lines so Im pretty well lost - and more than a bit bummed. |
