I'm pretty much done for the evening and am exhausted to say the least. So I'm gonna attempt these darn eggs.
|
Good luck.
I somehow managed to find them all, but I'm really not quite sure how, or where, or when that happened... And it seems that no more eggs are being released? I guess 80 is the max??? |
I'm at 64 and getting confused so I'm trying to stay in my quest thread where my questions I can't find are and keep editing my post.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mothers Day!!
|
Well Jess' little one goes for an MRI tomorrow at Children's Hospital to see if there is any reason besides stubbornness on why she's not walking yet. She's actually been having a bit of progress so hopefully she's just a late bloomer.
|
Oh man, good luck to them both!! Tell her we're thinking about her and the little one. |
I will. She made it through the MRI very well and even though them taking 7 vials of blood!! The results will be known in 2-5 days.
|
UGH!! I know it's not a long time in the grand scheme of things, but it IS a long time. |
They did call asking how she was doing today though. I thought that was encouraging.
|
That's really nice of them. |
I agree
|
*pops in* So I have been an epic fail when it comes to mene. I just cant seem to remember to stop in here anymore. No excuses, just laziness I suppose. But yeah - shes back to normal today. Not even a mark from where her IV was. They put it in her foot and in the long run I suppose it was a good thing because she couldnt try to tear it out. And they taped it up really good too. Everyone we met there was super awesome, but I really wouldnt expect anything less from a children's hospital
|
Hi Jess!! I'm glad it was as good of an experience as one can hope for. |
Now just to pray for the best!! It's gonna be all right.
|
How old is she now? I know one of my siblings took forever to start walking just because they didn't see a reason too when they could scoot everywhere they wanted to go.
I'm hoping it's the same for yours Jess! And that the stubborness subsides and she starts walking. (: |
She just turned 2 on the 29th
And the hospital called me - all that blood they drew? Complete waste. But the time they got it to the lab, it wasn't usable. It sat for too long and it clotted so they couldn't use a single vial. So now, I have to take the form they are faxing me and get it drawn again. I am NOT a happy camper |
That just makes complete nonsense to me. How in the world does it set to long in a hospital of all places?!?!?!?
That seems to be what the doctor said to Jess too Mel but they are just making 100% sure from what I understand. She can crawl up stairs and will pretty much walk when you hold her hands and she's even not holding on with the death grip much either now. She even does that one leg crawl deal where she is on one knee and one foot and her scooting is more like bouncing than sliding. I think she's just stubborn. |
Sounds like stubbornness to me too. xD But it's always better to be safe than sorry!
Jess- D: Seriously? You have every right to be pissed. That's completely unprofessional of them! Drawing that much blood from a small child and then not being able to do a damn thing with it? UGH. At least they didn't lose it. I had blood drawn for tests that I had to fast for before getting pregnant this time and they sent the blood off...and either the lab or the transport company lost it. So now I have blood out there...somewhere. |
Poor thing is gonna have to go through the poking again. I hate to see kids have to do that.
|
Jess, I hope you write a letter of complaint about the lab to the hospital administrators--that is SUCH bull. |
It is total bull.
|
Hey Jess! c: Filing a complaint will keep them on their toes.
|
Yup--it never hurts to put in a letter of complaint because, if everyone that has issues does so, they will pile up and change will happen. Sucks for the people shafted, but there is less chance it'll happen again. |
I don't even think she's heard about the MRI yet either. It's been a week today. Unreal.
