*nod* I know the feeling, Queen. I tend to do that too when I run contests for my threads. Besides excluding some folks from participating in the given events and activities, having a panel of judges tends to complicate things somehow...

Yes it was more of a precaution than anything else. She did get results of the MRI today and everything is fine. Elise is starting to walk around furniture now too. Also, when I walk with her, she isn't holding onto my hands for deer life like she used to. She just hasn't got the concept yet she needs to bend her knees when she walks.

Blazestorm 06-03-2010 02:08 AM

Well, I'm glad to hear everything is really ok with Elise! *nod* She'll figure it out eventually... as hard as that can be for those adults in her life to bear in some ways.

Melody 06-03-2010 11:58 AM

omg, I loved the non-bending knees walk. xD It's so friggan cute!

roocee 06-03-2010 01:16 PM

It is cute and with her chunky legs it makes it even cuter!!

Blazestorm 06-03-2010 01:45 PM

LOL!! *pinches chunky toddler - wanting - to - walk - legs* :XD

Melody 06-03-2010 01:58 PM

Kura had these cute rolls on her legs. I loved pinching them. And her huge cheeks. Kids get older and loose that chubbiness. </3 I miss that so much! I hope this baby is nice and chubby. xD

Blazestorm 06-03-2010 02:01 PM

I miss the chubbiness. It doesn't last long that's for sure!!
Now, my kids are all long and lean and lanky! (but at least they're still ticklish! )

Melody 06-03-2010 02:05 PM

A couple of mine are still kinda chubby...but not nearly "baby chubby" anymore. ):
Mine are ticklish too. >D Good times.

Blazestorm 06-03-2010 02:07 PM

LOL. My kids are older than yours, Mel... I'd be a bit concerned at this point if they still had the "baby chubby" thing going on. But it is soooo cute to see on the little bitty ones! XD

Melody 06-03-2010 03:01 PM

Little bitty ones are just so cute. ): My 5 year old still has some chub, and my 3 year old daughter does too. My son is just lanky. Been that way since birth. Once his cheeks went down he was practically chub-less. Made me so sad.

Blazestorm 06-03-2010 04:05 PM

LOL. I had one of each... one uber chubby chunky little monkey baby, and the other still had the baby chubbiness, but even with that (and it didn't last long) he still managed to be lanky (even moreso now!)...

Melody 06-03-2010 06:13 PM

lanky kids need to stop. They're cuter with baby chub. xD

Blazestorm 06-03-2010 06:19 PM

LOL. Let me know if you figure out exactly HOW to accomplish that, Mel!!

roocee 06-04-2010 01:35 PM

Baby chub is cute but I think Elise needs to lose her baby chub just a bit. She's just so darn chunky but once she takes off, I think that will certainly change.

Melody 06-04-2010 01:49 PM

When she decides walking is worthy of her time that chub will melt away. xD I know that's when my kids lost most of theirs.

I still remember Kura coming into the kitchen one morning and looking at her wondering when she turned from a baby into a toddler...and then from a toddler into a little kid. @[email protected]

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 02:44 PM

*nod* ...and it just keeps going! I'm looking at my kids now going "wow, they're full-fledged kids!! When -and how- did that happen?!"

The chub will melt when she starts walking... and if not then, it will when she realizes that walking is just the first step into getting into everything else!! :XD

Melody 06-04-2010 02:55 PM

walking very quickly turns into running... xD

I don't think my kids spent enough time as babies. I think they turned into toddlers too quickly. And the twins are already shedding that "melt your heart adorable" toddler face for the face of little kids. </3

Blazestorm 06-04-2010 06:25 PM

*nod* I understand.
... and right now, I wish my two WERE toddlers 'cuz all they're doing now is getting into trouble and trying to break things -- the fridge, the sofa, a wine glass, toys, each other...

Melody 06-06-2010 03:23 PM

Their rooms, their windows, peeling paint off the walls, coloring on each other and crying about it...

Blazestorm 06-06-2010 04:15 PM

Oh mine *still* do all that stuff too!!
*cowers at the thought*
Fortunately for all of us, they're not doing that stuff today (at least not yet....)

Melody 06-06-2010 07:53 PM

Mine have only done about half of it today...but the day is still young!

roocee 06-09-2010 03:16 AM

Well she's been venturing to letting go of things after she pulls herself up and walks around a bit. Any day now I think. Thing is, I think when she does take off, it might just be a full force run.

Blazestorm 06-09-2010 03:08 PM

LOL. That's very likely, Roo... so... ummm... make sure you have your running shoes on?? :XD

roocee 06-09-2010 03:12 PM

Oh absolutely!! I need to get Jess on here with some new pics of her little chubby one.
