Morning everyone, just waiting on Tab so I can head off for my ultrasound. In the meantime Im torturing myself with liquids, and I really, REALLY gotta pee, but I cant :lol:

I never drink as much as they say to. It's just way to much and you feel like you will burst.

There was a thing on NPR about medical myths that have never been proven and I think the 8 glasses of water a day is one of them - i just drink until I'm not thirsty. :lol:

I can't remember if it is 2 pints or 2 quarts of water that you have to drink when going in for an ultrasound...They only make you do it so that they can use your bladder as a marking point to find the uterus. So stupid IMO. For Kura I had to do that for the twins they never said anything about drinking a ton of water. My mom had the same experience. Only some doctors do it. :/ The entire time you are on the table they are poking and prodding you with the sonogram thing...and your bladder just wants to explode. >.<

No kidding. I've had it both ways. The hospital wanted me to drink 64 oz of water and the woman's center wanted me to have an empty bladder. Go figure.

Wasnt too bad, I didnt have to go till I got in there and even then I only had to wait about ahalf hour till I could go. With Toni I thought I was going to die lol.
Anyways, Im home and everything went well. Im having a girl, and shes due on April 13th. Amusing, because Toni's birthday is April 21st :lol: |

I know, but I could save money and have 2 birthdays in one. Toni might not appreciate it because shes older, but its not like we will really need to make a fuss over Lexi's for a few years yet. Except for her first one, thats always a big deal

Everything will be equal, no matter what. If Lexi gets something new, so will Toni, but Im not going to go overboard. Like if Lexi needs a new bottle, I'll get Toni a pack of markers or something. I dont want Toni to feel left out or resent Lexi, though I really dont think she will. Shes old enough to understand I think. Well I hope anyways

I think she is old enough to want to help out with her sister and feel important doing so.

I had an aunt that was like 13 when her baby brother was born. My grandma would hear my uncle crying and go down the hall to get him and run into my aunt who also got up to take care of him. :lol: drove my grandma crazy. But my aunt was just so happy to have a baby to call her own...even if it wasn't hers XD
