I have to agree with you Jess. Our brother is good looking and he knows it. Of course, that's probably why he's married.
I agree with apricot, I think it's great he's getting married. I'm happy for him. I have a gay man that is the office assistant where I work. I don't have a problem with him being gay. He just seems to think that he can attach himself to the owner of the firm even though my boss has stated outright he's completely straight and married. He also seems to think he can do my job better than I can and he can't type. Maybe I just don't understand his intentions and don't know who I can talk to about it. |
That's too bad that he is causing you stress, roo. I have found that some gay men have a tendency to be overly.... bitchy? I think gay men also have a tendency to be very superficial, not only with each other, but people in general. I still love them, though. There are several that don't like me simply because I'm a lesbian, but I think it's funny that they're so hateful toward someone that is a member of their community. They act like princesses when really they're just hags. hehehhhehee

Yeah - Chris is my gay brother - I just wish he could legally get married :/ I told him to move to Jersey so he could at least get civil union benefits but he and Ian hate NJ so that's not going to happen.

I think one of them just recently got a girlfriend but I'm not fond of her..I knew her back in 7th grade and she was one of my best friends sisters friends...but a really bad influence (drugs, and really bad boyfriends) whenever she was around my best friends sister had her entire life screwed up. His girlfriend introduced my friends sister to this really bad drug addict that she decided to date that ended up raping her among other things. >.> And I know for a fact that she has cheated on all of her past boyfriends, so finding out that she is dating my brother doesn't exactly make me happy. -_- The other one just doesn't take care of himself enough for a girl to stand. He needs to shower and wash his hair more...but doesn't. :/ I dunno my brothers were just never into the dating scene. |
sia, I am not too fond of New Jersey either. I love the Jersey shore, but the rest of it... meh.
I wish we all had the right to legally marry, but it's just not going to happen anytime soon. And for what reason? Fear and homophobia and all of that crap. I think in this day and age that it's just sad. We have politicians trying to "uphold the sanctity of marriage" that cheat on their wives. It's a mess. hehehe @ gay men acting like little bitches about trivial things... that about hits the nail on the head, right there. |

Well that describes him to a T. He can be rather bitchy and he is extremely superficial. He tends to cater to my office manager and the attorneys because they have money. I on the other hand do not so I am just a peon. He buys them extravagant gifts for Christmas and such and I get this crap that I really don't need. I probably shouldn't feel like I do about him because I have nothing against gay men but he just hurts me sometimes.

I'm to the point now that I feel like I'm just being a big jealous baby about it. Just don't know how to fix the situation. He bakes cookies and meals for my boss, brings in candy and nuts for everyone except me. Maybe I am just jealous because I certainly don't need that stuff but still. I certainly wouldn't do for everyone except one person.

I certainly hope so. I've never done anything to him to deserve it but it's really hard to be nice and polite to him and it does show sometimes and of course he runs right to the boss and tells like a little kid. Then I get told about it.

bleh I didnt really sleep well. Well I did until I got up to watch the news at 7. Took 10 minutes to go through all the closings to get where I needed to go, and by that time Toni had wandered out. Took her back to bed with me and managed to doze for maybe an hour if that

I think I remember hearing one news station will actually send text messages for school closings - something about you go on their website and sign up for text alerts for a specific set of numbers.
