When I graduated high school in 1994 we had a horrible winter with lots of snow storms and below freezing temperatures. I remember watching the Weather Channel religiously and even getting mad if we were only getting 1-3 inches. ROFL We actually only had 172 school days that year because a lot of kids in my graduating class started college in the summer semester and couldn't stay in high school longer, so we lucked out a bit.
*cuddles Jess* I hope you're feeling well, hon. |
I just noticed Ive been reading too fast again *blushes* Sorry snow!! Yes baby is doing fine, though shes laying odd and its uncomfortable at times.
aprifruity, I remember that winter, I graduated in 94 too. We ended up graduating like 10 days late because of all the snow days we had to make up. Was very irritating indeed!! And a completely and totally off the wall question - Do fish like ever get thirsty? Im sitting here watching Sandy in his bowl and was wondering if he does. Drinking that water would be very nasty |
Hiya Jess! lol, I haven't been here in a while. I've been fishing every day but slacking on everything else.
That is a good question... I always wondered when they slept, but whether they get thirsty or not is a much better question. |
Since there were no students, we got let out early this afternoon, and I'm glad we did--the roads were SLICK!
hmmm I think they do sleep. Sandy likes to lay at the very bottom of his bowl, kinda hidden in the plants. He stays there for hours sometimes, so I figure he must be sleeping
I would have to say yes he's sleeping then Jess but thirsty, that isn't something I've ever thought about.
If I was submerged in water all the time, I think I'd want to dry out every now and then--I'd never be thirsty!
Hmmmm, that's a good point.
*turns green at the thought of being a fishie and having to drink the water I've been swimming (and doing other things in) all day*
Ewwwww, that's just not what I wanted to think about.
Sorry, yeah, that WAS kinda gross for me to bring up, eh?
Twinnie! Eh, we were all thinking it :D
Morning Jess, yep I am interested in the Chicky. Thanks!
ewwww fishy water....lol |
*pokies the Jess* How be you today sister o mine?
You guys missed it!! When Rue was bring me home we passed 2 of the worlds sexiest people, no lie!!!!
Did you grab them? :D
I wanted to but Rue wouldnt. Maybe it was because I had her laughing so hard she almost ran off the road
I would like to know more about these sexy people, especially if they're guys. *o*
Well the first one, I thought it was a woman because it looked like she was wearing a skirt. As we passed her I saw it was a man, in baggy shirt and sneakers with no socks, and a heavy winter coat getting his mail. Very attractive let me tell you, chicken legs and all
Oh it was too funny.
*giggles* I was just reading the last pages of posts in here. The conversation about fish was funny! I have never thought about whether or not they get thirsty.
lol Im well known for asking off the wall questions
Yep but we love ya anyway :)
...omg! That certainly is 'sexy.' Chicken legs are in demand. 8)
>.> yay for sexy men with chicken legs?
