I was bummed last night because Nova wasn't on WHYY - it was a Police concert . .Chris made fun of me for being bummed about TV - and I pointed out that at least I was bummed about missing a scientific/ educational program :P |
Well shes pissed me off again. My cats are like my kids right? Well our male has allergies and every 6 months he gets hives so we have to take him to the vet to get a shot. Well the hives appeared and Lynn said last night to get him a vet appointment to get his shot. No problem.
Well his mother called and said her and Tab would be here to take Uno to the vet. WTF???? Since when is he YOUR cat? How would she like it if I took her cats to the vet without her? Trust me it wouldnt happen. Probably something really silly to be angry over but damnit Ive been with him for every shot and it pisses me off that I cant be there for this one. |
Ugh, I'm sooo not looking foward to her moving in with Tab and I. I can see this getting ugly fast or me moving out. *sigh*

I don't see how someone can have their mother move in without first getting it OKed by their house mates. Or is one of those situations where you couldn't say no for the sake of the family drama? |
We got into it today about it actually but it's just not worth it at this point.

Its kinda a family drama thing I guess. Tabs parents are getting divorced after 30 years of marriage. Its really sad, but hes an ass. He screwed her mom out of money and all kinds of stuff, so in order to keep her car she has to move in with them. Because shes disabled and only gets so much monthly in disability, shes so far in the hole that Lynn paid her car payment for her. Good thing he had a good check is all I can say. But yeah I can see lots of fights because Tab's mom will interfere in everything, its like she just cant help herself. And shes one of those people who is always right, argue with her till you are blue she will never be wrong, even when shes proven wrong

*sigh* Im so upset. Toni's beautiful betta fish Sandy died. I was walking past his bowl getting ready to feed him and there he was, upside down at the bottom of the bowl not moving. I feel so bad, I cant even dispose of him. Shes going to be so upset, she loved that fish. And he did so well, we had him for well over a year :(

Toni took it well, all things considered. She cried pretty good, but she decided to bury him by the rose bush by our sidewalk. She put his plants with him, then marked the spot by covering it with the colorful stones we had in the bottom of his bowl. |

The red are really pretty. She took such good care of it too. I am really surprised he lasted as long as he did. I know that exotic fish live longer lives but beta fish don't normally live all that long.
