They're both first generation though.

But ski boarding is fun and so is skiing

@iiro: I didn't know that it was so hard to get into a community college. I thought if you had a passing grade level than you were accepted. Tulsa's Community College will let high schoolers take classes there although we have to take the ACT first. I want to take a music theory/history class there but I'll probably not take it until the second semester of 11th grade because I'm not taking my ACT right now. x__x
TCC is even letting the students go free right now although I think that ends next year. But they might be extending it.

@woohoo: Well, my parents never go anywhere cold for vacation so it'll probably be a while before I can try it.

It's not the whole getting in process. I can do that, I believe, it's just the whole getting there and getting through it. I'm not the richest. I can't afford to go to a college...

The community college doesn't give scholarships? I would think the state would pay your way for a community college if your parents don't make as much money. That's the way it is here in Oklahoma.

There are scholarships that can go towards the community college but the state definitely wouldn't pay someone's way in. You're crazy. :lol: Why don't you ever get on MSN anymore?

I guess that's just Oklahoma. A lot of students have been really blessed to go onto higher education without paying but honestly, I think if your parents make under a certain amount of money then you should qualify for free college paid by the government. I was sure that wasn't just an Oklahoma thing.

And I haven't been on MSN the last few days because my mom unhooked the internet and my arms have been hurting too much anyways.
And I have been today but you haven't. D;

Today hasn't been a great day. This whole week my tension problem in my arms/wrist/hands have been at their worst. I went back to the chiropractor and he said I had tendinitis, but the pain isn't just in my elbow it all through my arm. Tension builds up in my arm no matter what I'm doing but I really started noticing it when I played piano and I cannot play piano while I'm tense or that could lead to carpal tunnel. So, I have haven't played the last few days and I'm taking a break from putting too much pressure on my arms. I think they just need a rest so they can heal. But the tension is more of a side effect from a nervous system issue. It's hard to explain.
So, if today hasn't already been hard enough dealing with my arms and everything tonight I broke my front tooth. Grr!
It has broken before since when I was little both of my front teeth broke and since then one of them has continually broken usually when I just eat regular food...nothing particularly hard. So, tomorrow hopefully I can get an appointment. I really don't want to have to wait a few days and go around looking like a hillbilly. When the tooth is fixed it shouldn't break so I don't get why I have to keep going back. It's very frustrating.
I'm honestly more upset about my arms because they actually hurt and I'm mad that this really interferes with practicing. I have barely practiced at all maybe 30 minutes tops since Thursday. T^T
Well, there is my complaining for right now.

@woohoo: I would if I could. Whenever my dad takes vacations we go visit my grandpa and family down in Texas. And when I'm not going there I visit my grandpa in Missouri. So about once a year maybe we go some place else and that's in the summer. My parents don't go to cold places.

Yeah, my grandpa on my Dad's side is turning 90 this year so we spend most vacations down there.
My other grandpa is in his eighties but still works...hard. >__>
He's in the real estate business. Buying real estate is like a passion for him but he seriously needs to slow down a little. He just wants too much...I'd rather he relax a little. He's busy all the time and ever since my grandma died he just works more. And he doesn't eat right so I know it takes a toll on him. x__x
