Just in general. In school I was always told that I would get kicked out if I couldn't master the simple task of conforming the way everyone else had. That was also a reason I was never picked to be a prefect.

Eh, conforming isn't the issue as long as your non-conformity wasn't causing you to break rules and just be overall obnoxious. XD

Oh yeah, I wasn't ever rude or obnoxious. The only thing I really did was alter the school uniform somewhat. Even then, I was still somewhat in the guidelines. Meh, that place just hated me. xD Hence why I dropped out a year earlier and went to college instead.

Various social sciences. Sociology is my favourite, so 4/5 of my choices had that included.

Oh, I'm sorry if I came across as rude. :gonk: I didn't mean to. I simply meant to say that a lot of people love sociology degrees because they're so versatile.

Actually, after reading my post, it seems that I was the one coming across as rude. Which I didn't intend either. I liked sociology when I was in college...I just couldn't figure out what it would do for me in terms of a job or a good salary. So I did CompSci instead, which worked well for me...I had a nice long 32 year career with IBM, with a salary good enough to allow me to retire early. |

@Jean: Oh nice. (: I still haven't really decided what I want to do as such, so I thought I'd just study something that interested me. Not that I'll be going to Uni this year anyway since the one that I stood the greatest chance getting in to rejected my application. :c
