Painting can be a huge pain! D:

Especially when it's just cabinets and cabinet doors.

We have to do 2 coats of primer, 1 coat of paint, and 3 coats of poly to seal it.
It's going to take forever to do all that painting.

We have about 40 cabinet doors to be done too...

Actually, the windows didn't help when hubby put his glue goop on the wall to fix the sheetrock. I thought I was going to die...

It's like you can almost FEEL them dying...

But for the paint, we're using latex so the smell isn't quite as bad as it would be with oil paints...

Ah that's good! I seriously cannot stand the smell of stains and sealers etc, it gives me bad headaches even in well ventilated areas. D:

We were going to stain the cabinets, but we couldn't get any of the colors to come out right. So that's why we're going to paint them instead.

I think I want a darker granite, so having lighter cabinets is going to work out better.

Aha, well that's good you can work it out still. I'd probably be a little pouty if I planned something and it didn't work out. xD /childish

I know...hubby isn't sure he wants painted cabinets, but what can you do?

Now we're saying we should have just gotten all new cabinets, but that would have cost over 10K, and we didn't want to spend that kind of money.
