I've always just assumed that each person is one or the other, but there are also those who're "logical optimists" and "hopeful pessimists" and other such categories. ^^;;

well my outlook on situations and things definitely depends on my mood xD

generally if I'm in a bad mood then I look at things pessimistically, but when I'm happy and good things happen I'm more optimistic

@ Rose : We're the total opposite then. xDD;; I'm definitely an optimist, because I see no real downside to wanting something to turn out for the better. =P Yeah, there will always be disappointments (such is the nature of life, after all xDD), but I guess I would rather that I hope and get disappointed than never to hope at all or something. ^^;; And yes, it's a variation of the phrase, "Better to love and lose it than to have never loved at all." =P <3<3
