*jumps in* Got a great drink if you want to try it...called a Tropical Duck Fart. Has in it: bailey's irish cream, kaluha and bacardi. Talk about yum! The counter part is a Russian duck fart, but instead of rum, you use vodka

Bailey's is one of my favorites! I can drink it straight or mixed with other stuff. Slippery Nipples are :drool: damn tasty. Tastes like a warm butterscotch cookie! It's heaven.

So darcy, how is your quest for my love stick going? xD

Ohh, I know what you mean. @ [email protected];; Some drinks are just awful. D: I'm real picky when it comes to drinks usually. ^^;; One time, something was supposed to taste like brownie ala mode, but I ended up almost gagging. >.>;;

I just can't do alcohol. It doesn't work for me no matter how 'unnoticeable' the flavor is meant to be. >.< I'm a super taster for it and it makes having just hte smell of it around me bad. lolz. Scott isn't allowed to drink around me with out brushing his teeth before trying to kiss me. The smell of it on his breath makes me feel sick. o.o

Ohh, I see, I see. =O I only do social drinking, so I don't drink beer and other things. Mostly, if not all, of the alcoholic drinks I drink are cocktails and mixed drinks. Beer is GROSS. D: It's an acquired taste, but I don't want to get used to it. >.>;;
And the smell of alcohol reeks. >.>;; Most of the time, you need to rinse with mouthwash to get the smell out of your mouth completely. And I don't blame you for requiring him to brush his teeth. That's the right gentlemanly thing to do. =P

Better that you don't go near it, I say. 8DD;;
I stay away from my guy friends when they start downing beer. >.>;; Probably cause they can get gross when they start, and I don't want beer flying around and raining down on me. ^^;;
My dad used to own two bars when I was still small. So, I got familiar with how drinks were made and everything. Of course, I never got to taste any (I was less than 10 and they only allowed me to get sparkly water mixed with some flavoring xDD). It was still cool though. =P
... sorry, the memory suddenly came about for some reason. ^^;;

Not that big of a fan of wine as well, but I prefer it to beer. xDD;; Just personal opinion as well~ :3 <3
And Sera, was that directed at me? =O If so, then yeah, it was real fun indeed. :> Too bad my dad sold the bars and hopped to another job. He got bored of the night life. xDD;; Although he's back at it now. @ [email protected];; How strange. ^^;;

You never know how much you like something until you no longer do it.
My father just sold his business and already missed it less than a month later. Since we moved, he's opening a new one.

Well, he doesn't miss the bar business all that much, actually. =O When I meant he's back at it now, I meant the night life thing. xDD;; He's currently an almost-professional poker player. =P So, his hours are during the night. ^^;;
And aww, I wish your dad good luck with his new business then. =O <3<3

Oh, definitely. xDD;;
He's been at the top of many businesses in the past (M&M's, Arnotts, J&J, etc xDD), but he leaves them when he reaches a relatively high position in the company, and then he starts at the bottom with a new job.
Gawd, he confuses me sometimes. But it makes for a man with a lot of credibility and interesting stories. xDD;; He even left one very good job to pursue his musical interests. He then managed some artists and was into the whole entertainment business. That's one true story of someone choosing passion over money, at the very least. =P
Right now, he's a teacher/poker player/bread distributor. It's a very funny combination. xDD;; His students in marketing are fascinated by him, because he actually has real life experiences he can share that no one else can. ^^;; One of the reasons why I love him so. 8DD;; <3<3

I wouldn't really know, but his students enjoy him, I think. xDD;; When he's serious, that is. He has a tendency to deviate from the lesson plan the university tells him to teach. He's not fond of the research/books, and would rather teach from real experience. xDD;; But he's getting better at accepting that he has to follow strict lecture plans. ^^;;

Most teachers if they can relate real life to some of the research books, it helps the students remember things better. I know it helps me remember things. :3

That's what my dad tries to do. :> But he thinks that most research books are too idealistic, so he tries to balance that idealism in the books with real life examples. xDD;;
And yup, I agree. :> In my Journalism courses (or what subjects I've taken, at least xDD), all our professors in the course are practitioners in the field, so at least you know that they are very credible people, at the very least. :3 It's one of the reasons why I went to the university I'm currently studying in. ^^;;

Ryl, sounds like your dad is out for the challenge of bettering himself then the money to be made from a top spot in the company. That's what makes a quality employee, one that will go the extra mile and not back down from opposition.
Had one english teacher in college that I am pretty sure never actually wrote any professional pieces herself and she was teaching enlgish composition. Never could understand how she got the job with just the degree and no practical experience. She could not handle criticism on her papers at all!
Makes me chuckle now looking back on what an ignorant fool she was, but at the time I wanted to rip her voice box out and jump on it!

That's true. :3 My dad is the type who won't stay somewhere if he doesn't like it. He never lets an opportunity pass when it comes to him, hence why he transfered jobs a lot. You could say he does it on a whim, but knowing my dad, I'd like to believe he's more intelligent than that. xDD;; He's driven by what he feels will make him happier in the long run though, and I think he realized early on that money is not something that can make him happy in the long run. ^^;;
Well, I'm just guessing how he feels about it though, from our conversations with each other. ^^;; My dad can be a mystery, and never really gives a straight and definite answer when people ask why he's changed jobs so many times in the past. I don't wanna bother him about it though, and I trust that he knows what he's doing. xDD;;
And plus, he likes what he's doing. I mean, he has regrets, but doesn't everyone, right? =P But he told me once it's better not to dwell on regrets, because if you keep looking back at "what ifs", you won't get to decide clearly about the "what nows". Or, something like that. xDD;;;
And woah, your teacher is strange. =\ But then, she could have been just book-smart? =O But not being able to handle criticisms is a sign of unprofessionalism. >.>;; At least you don't have to deal with her anymore though. xDD;; <3<3

Yeah, dropped that class in a new york minute. Not to mention, she was a lousy teacher. She wanted a bubble outline, a formal outline, rough draft, revised draft and the final paper. To me, that is not writing, that's putting yourself in a cookie cutter mold and expecting result, doesn't happen. Got terribly frustrated with that class so I dropped it.
