"-san" is something to represent respect of sorts >w<
"-chan" is for a child,or someone you deem to be child-like/ish
"-kun" is below "-san". It's respectful, but it tends to be specifically for boys.
I think "sama" is above "san". I've seen it used when referring to a master, or someone of high status.
same for "dono", but I don't see that one used often enough.
