I realize that art school is hard. Very hard. I'm not sure where everyone got the idea that it was easy. |
What I usually get is something like, "Oh, art? It should be easy since you like it, right?" or "Art isn't as hard as math. It's just pictures" or something ._.;

Wow, that's pretty bad. If it was that easy then everyone would be doing it. I think it's a shame that people give art such little credit.

Which amazes me, because so many people have dabbled in art - so they must realize how difficult it can be to create a wonderful art piece. :/

How dare people degrade the worth of art and how hard it is to master? =\ I would be so angry if people were to say that stuff to my face. Besides, art and math are two entirely different things, and you can't compare the two on equal grounds because they have their own worlds. And personally, its easier to teach math to someone than to teach someone how to draw well. xDD;; Not that teaching people math is easy (cause it's not, I know >.>), but you get what I mean. ^^;; |
Apparently it's enough work to send me near a panic attack. This morning I was very close to some sort of fit and it scared me. It's the only reason I came online, really. Just needed to talk to people.
