Actually, my summer classes aren't exactly real classes. The classes I'm taking are, like, umm, community service that the university requires for every student. :> It's only twice a week, but the whole day. But then, it's mostly just helping people out and stuff. No REAL classes, thank gawd. xDD;; It's like a field trip sort of thing, even.

I swear, if it were REAL classes, I would NEVER have even enlisted in them. x_x;; </3

Well, it's NOT exactly community service, but it's close to it.

You see, our tuition here is subsidized by the government, because we're the national university of the country. :> So, these required extra hours during summer (or during the semester itself, but students are so busy they don't want to extra load xDD) are like a way of us paying back the community, whose taxed pay for part of our tuition. 8DD;;

Our school is self-sustaining, so it takes our money and nothing else XD

but it gets 30K for each student, at least, so yeah.. >_>

Lolz~ xDD;; I would have gone to another college, but this college is the best in the country, and only accepts 3,000 students a year despite having over 80,000 applications a year. 8DD;; So, I'm happy to be here. :>

Plus, the tuition here is a LOT cheaper than my high school one. xDD;; My high school tuition was around a little bit below 30k in dollars, I guess. @[email protected];; Now, it's like... cheap, compared to that. So, I get more allowance overall and more shopping money! 8DD;; <3<3 Lolz. xDD;;

My parents wanted me in this private all-girls' school. And grade school. And kinder. It's cause some of my grandmothers (sisters of my grandfather) were nuns in that school. So, you can just imagine how freeing university life is. 8DD;;

That's sort of scary. One of my most liberating moments was when my parents stopped making me go to church. I guess it was my face when they talked about gay marriage and how it's evil. I cannot fit in with any religion, but I'm not atheist, so I've settled for agnosticism >_>;

If I went to a religious academy my opinionated self would get kicked out >_>

I do adhere to my religion (Roman Catholicism) pretty much, since I grew up with it and cause the Philippines is also mostly Roman Catholic (Spain's influence from looonnng looonnngg ago). But I of course respect other people's beliefs. :3 I'm definitely not the type that shoves my religion into people's face. I look down on those who do that. >.>;; Unless it's for a debate, or if someone is dissing my religion. But, you know. =P
