Are there any events during summer or just during super-major holidays?

Last summer there was a user run carnival - not sure when the next event is planned - I think Mene is trying to create their own holidays (like the orchid jubilee)

I bought a whole bunch of event commons that I haven't used yet- but I find that I will eventually use the stuff I buy - it just takes time to find the right outfit for them.
This seems to happen to me with each even anyway. |
