Keska Yehh, Mine wasn't old enough for the last one. It was like...3 days late I think. Kinda like for the auction right now, it starts, and I'm a few days off from a month. Haha.

@ .Simplicity.: There were only so many people who were members of the site then. So there are only so many of those items. I think though that there are quite a few of them floating around. I just think that people are hoarding them. I don't think they are as rare as they seem to be. I remember seeing them around a lot. I just think people bought a whole bunch of them up and are sitting on them. I could be wrong though.

It is a good thing that you have patience. Off by a few days is pretty bad. It would frustrate me a bit. xD

It would be sad to see so many fans being sat on, while so many crave them. I've seen a few fans myself.

I remember when I first joined and I was new. I didn't have any clothes. The v-day event was going on and I ended up with a nice little outfit due to that. It wasn't even a day after that I started to get PMs from people asking me to buy the set off of me. It annoyed me. I had no intent of ever selling these items. But I still kept getting the PMs from people who obviously wanted to hoard the items because they knew that they would be valuable one day. So it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

Wow, I'd be extremely annoyed and tell them off. I only get multiple sets so that I can sell them to the people that weren't there during the event and so I can get more gold for my quests. I still have some Celes Paradi things that need to be sold.

@Keska: It's great that you joined during the event, but it sucks that people did that to you. It would definitely be very annoying because the people just assume that you don't want those EIs.
There could also be a possibility that they did that because they knew you were a new member and thought they would be able to rip you off by purchasing the set for a very low price since you didn't know its worth.

I was really annoyed. But I didn't tell anyone off because I was still really new and didn't want to get in any trouble. I just kept telling everyone that I wasn't selling. So could they please stop bugging me about it because I wasn't going to change my mind about it.

They were doing it because you could only get one set per account. So everyone was scrambling to get as many sets as they could because it was obviously going to be a very good investment.

@ M i n u x e: Honestly that's what I think was going on. They thought they could offer very little gold and get a great investment.

Limiting the amount of sets one can get to 1 during certain events. I can understand why they did it and all, but it makes some items almost impossible to obtain for some people.

I think she meant the first v-day set. I think most people would have preferred that you could get more than one set of the 2007 v-day set.

Well the site was still pretty new then. I'm sure that's why.

@ roocee: There's no doubt that that is one of the reasons. I also think they weren't really sure where they were going with the site or just how they wanted to run things. They tried out a whole bunch of different stuff to see what worked best.

@ Platinum: No clue what so ever. Though now you have me very curious about that.

But that makes sense, I mean, I know there weren't many members, but still...I agree with you though, there are probably quite a few out there that're just sitting in inventories, etc. and are just waiting to be sold since they're so high in price .___.

@ .Simplicity.: Yeah, unfortunately you don't have a choice in the having to wait department. Though I can see why you would be frustrated. At least I'm not off by a few days so it doens't seem as bad for me.

Haha, AW~ Items can be difficult to draw from because they're so tiny, and zooming in does not help at all.

I just took a screenie of what I was wearing and put the name beside it and stuff. They can get the general idea I'd hope. ^^;
